Story
Trixie is an amazing sweet girl, she is a 3 year old mix breed with stunning blue eyes, weighing 35 lbs. This sweet girl was let down by her past owners, found as a stray and hit by a car. She had FHO surgery and can run, play and go on walks. Trixie has so much love in her heart, she loves dogs of all sizes, kids of all ages, and to just cuddle beside you on a chair. She shows no prey drive so may do well with cats. Trixie is house trained and crate trained. She can be trusted out of her crate. She walks well on a leash and does great on car rides. She loves to play with other dogs and toys. Trixie is very smart and knows basic commands. Trixie is heart worm negative, spayed and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. If you are looking for a wonderful dog to add to your family please request a meet and greet with Trixie, she is hanging out in New Holland PA waiting for her forever family. New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. How about a “fun loving, playful, yet affectionate, eager to please, other dog loving, cat loving, child and adult loving” dog? All that and once over the Zoomies of meeting you, I do settle down. Well, “that’s me in a nut shell”! “I’m RIP!”, a 6 month old, about 45# boy that lives and plays daily with other dogs, can be acclimated to cats, love kids, adults and strangers, just seeming to be a “go with the flow” type of guy . Don’t get me wrong, I do have some training needs since I’m with a rescue in a kennel environment, but we Catahoula dogs are know to be very intelligent, fast learners and I am treat motivated. Needing daily exercise like walks, fetch and maybe frisbee, I do settle down, am a soft mouth boy when playing and dearly love my person. A fenced in yard is best, but not required. Known as a “Velcro Boy” at the rescue, once yours, my person time I do take to heart! LOVE ON ME PLEASE MOM/DAD! Story
Violet is a name evoking beauty, grace and power of nature. Although only 6 months old weighing approx. 40#, once my initial excitement is over, I have a demeanor of a violet, beautiful inside and out, affectionate, eager to please, with soft light blue eyes that stair longing for my person’s love. I do have a fun living, goofy side as well that is game to romp, play with toys, great with other dogs, children, adults and can be acclimated to cats!  Known in the rescue as a “Velcro Dog”, once attached, I’ll be yours for life! My eyes are a BEAUTIFUL SKY BLUE, coat is soft, short with ears black/gray/white and patches of light brown. My body has occasional patches of same colors that will probably increase across my body as I mature. Still a puppy in a kennel environment, I do have a lot yet to learn, but Catahoula’s are known to be Very Intelligent and Trainable! We are also agile, friendly with strangers and a great family dog. My personality is showing I have a “soft mouth”, enjoy being cuddled and wanting to be with my person. So, that’s my scoop. I’m Violet a beautiful young girl with a lifetime of love to give!   DOB: 12/11/23  Pups are purebred Catahoula Leopards.  We have 5 (4 boys/1 girl).    They are spayed/neutered  and ready for homes.  All are very friendly with people and other dogs.   To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org.
