Story
We are an elderly couple in our mid-70s and received a wonderful mixed-breed rescue dog over four years ago — a dog we named Grover. Due to unexpected health issues and the fact that we frequently travel to New York City to visit our children and grandchildren, we unfortunately need to re-home Grover. We want to make sure he gets a good home. Originally rescued from Oklahoma 5 years ago. Grover is friendly, enjoys being petted, and loves to be outside and catch balls. He has herding instincts so appreciates space to run and take walks (he is good on the leash). He will protect the home and owner (he does not like unexpected/unknown visitors at the door, or delivery people.) He knows basic commands (sit, down, stay). He does not jump up onto furniture or steal food. He is a medium-sized dog, about 50 pounds, and is about 6 years old. Grover is up to date on all vaccinations and had his annual check-up in June. Grover would fit best in a single-dog home, or with female dogs. He is good with our grandchildren. Unfortunately, we aren't in a position to keep Grover and want him in a good home.

Story
Meet Tim! Tim is a handsome Boston Terrier who is beginning a brand-new chapter in life after being released from a puppy mill. While his past may not have included many of the comforts and experiences that family pets enjoy, Tim has already shown us that he is both curious and incredibly resilient. Though we are still getting to know him, Tim approaches the world with quiet determination. New sights, sounds, and experiences can be a lot to take in, but he continues to surprise us with his willingness to explore and learn. Every day, he gains a little more confidence as he discovers that life can be full of kindness, comfort, and fun. Tim will likely thrive in a patient home that understands he may need time to adjust to life as a beloved companion. As he continues to blossom, his future family will have the rewarding opportunity to watch him experience all the joys of being a dog—from cozy beds and tasty treats to walks, playtime, and unconditional love. If you're looking for a sweet pup who deserves a fresh start and are willing to help him navigate this new world at his own pace, Tim may be the perfect addition to your family. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Wilson! Wilson is a charming Boston Terrier who is just beginning to discover what life as a beloved family pet is all about. After being released from a puppy mill, he is getting his first taste of the comforts, adventures, and affection that every dog deserves. While we are still getting to know Wilson, he has already shown us an endearing combination of curiosity and caution. He can be a bit shy when faced with new people, places, and experiences, but his adventurous spirit often wins out. Whether he's investigating a new toy, exploring his surroundings, or working up the courage to say hello, Wilson approaches the world with quiet determination. As he continues to adjust, Wilson will benefit from a patient and understanding family willing to let him learn at his own pace. With time, consistency, and plenty of love, we expect his confidence to continue to grow as he realizes that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Watching a puppy mill survivor blossom is one of the most rewarding experiences, and Wilson is ready to start that journey with a family of his own. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion and are excited to help a deserving dog discover all the joys of being loved, Wilson may be the perfect match for you. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
