Story
Pepper has settled into home life very quickly. She walks nicely on a leash and will sleep quietly at night on her dog bed. She is house-trained and lived with a cat. She would prefer to be an only dog. She already knows her manners and will sit, stay, lay down, leave it and wait to be invited before jumping up on the couch. She is a lady about taking treats gently, getting her teeth brushed, nails trimmed and taking her monthly pills. She can be left home alone without kenneling and will wait for you by the door. She does just fine with loud noises such as thunder, fireworks, and sirens. She just really wants to be cuddled, roll in the grass, get the occasional zoomies and get belly rubs. She needs to go to an adult only home because someone jumped on her while she was sleeping in what should have been her safe space and when she startled awake she broke skin. However, she has done well around children at events and has even sought select ones out for attention and simply withdraws when she has had enough, so she would be fine with children as house guests. This sweet girl is game to try just about any adventure, as long as she is with her people. She rides great in the car, boat, and even took a ride on a paddle board. She is curious about other dogs at events and greets calm ones when given a little time, otherwise she just moves on. She asks to approach strangers and warms up quickly, especially if they have a treat, but is also respectful of those who don't want to say hi and doesn't jump on anyone. She is a wonderful, loving dog that will do almost anything for her family. All she needs is you. Be sure to check out the many stories, pictures and videos about her on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet her today!! Adoption fee: $375 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response. JR's Pups-N-Stuff Dog Sellers License 522614
