Story
Meet Tyla, aka Foxy
Foxy had a tough start to life, which left her cautious around new environments, people, and the world in general. But she’s making incredible progress! On day 1, she ran from me and hid in the corner of her crate. On day 2, she let me pet her. By day 3, she came over asking for affection. She’s learning what it means to be loved—and I can already tell she not only likes it, she’s eager to keep exploring this big, new world.
Foxy is a curious and brave little girl. She’s still figuring out what a leash is for, but when she’s off-leash, she comes alive—hopping around, sniffing everything, and exploring with wide-eyed wonder. She’s also learning what her bed and toys are for, and slowly getting the hang of using pee pads outside her crate.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
