Story
Introducing the Country Singers Litter!! These little superstars are 3-month-old, Pomeranian/Chihuahua mixes currently weighing between seven and thirteen pounds. There are six boys: Garth, Bret, Luke, Toby, Jason, and Blake, and one girl: Reba. They were rescued from a kill shelter in Augusta, Georgia and they are so thankful to have been saved.
Blake is a handsome little guy who is the smallest in his litter. While he may be tiny, he has an adorable, fluffy, light tan coat with white toes and the cutest little ears that make him stand out! Due to Blake’s past, he can be shy with new people and asks for a little bit of patience when he is acclimating at home (especially with children), but do not fret - Blake’s personality and love burst out of him when he is in the company of other confident canines. For this reason, he should go home with at least one other confident canine. Blake is not the first to instigate play time or wrestle mania, but will surely ask for a cuddle and snuggle time. Now just because he will not instigate playtime, does not mean he is above playing. In fact, Blake has a ton of fun playing with his friends and will postpone his snuggles just a little bit to fit all the fun in. Blake cannot wait to find his home sweet home, will it be yours? HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
