Meet Archie! Archie is a 5-6 year old male Pomeranian who was rescued from being found left in a dumpster. Now safe at Husky House, Archie is looking for his loving forever home. Unfortunately, Archie has had a few seizures since arriving at Husky House, so he takes medication twice daily to help manage them. Poor Archie is very nervous around people, which is understandable given his history. He does not go out of his way to snap, but may growl or get snappy when people do not respect his boundaries (e.g. try to pick him up when he is uncomfortable). Archie does well with other small dogs. He has never been cat tested but would be expected to do well with cats as he is small and not overly playful. Interested in adopting Archie? Meet Willow! Willow is a pomsky puppy who is looking for her loving forever home. She was saved from a puppy mill along with her two littermates, and like many puppy mill survivors, is fearful of people but shows no aggression despite her fear. Willow is great with other dogs and needs a home with at least one well-adjusted dog to help her gain confidence and learn “how to dog.” Willow is learning to walk on leash would do best in a home with a very secure, fenced-in yard that she cannot escape from (e.g. no small holes under the fence that could be crawled through). We would recommend keeping Willow on a long leash when outside to make sure that she can be safely brought back inside when playtime is over. Willow is crate trained. Meet Klondike! He's a 5 month old Pomsky rescued from an amish puppy mill. He's a bit shy at first but as long as he's around other dogs he breaks out of his shell pretty quickly! He wants to play with cats and hasn't shown aggression but is still learning to be gentle about it. Once he warms up he loves to snuggle in bed and give kisses! He's doing great with potty training along with great in the crate (as long as he gets a fun treat like a peanut butter filled Kong). He's been good on leash but still learning not to pull. He does much better if another dog is walking with him, he doesn't have a ton of confidence by himself yet. Klondike has the typical puppy energy and loves zoomies/playing with toys. Story

I purchased Simba in 2014, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is 11 years old, very sweet, playful, and also likes to keep to himself sometimes. Gets along with cats, dogs, and children. I used to live with him at my mom’s house where we had a big backyard for him to go out and play. However, I recently had to move out and now live in an apartment and he is not adjusting very well. Due to my busy schedule, I am only able to take Simba out a couple times a day. And I think given his old age he needs access to using the bathroom more often than I am able to provide. He is also alone for long hours while I’m working. I feel he deserves to be in a home that not only has a yard, but a family who is home more often and able to give him the attention he needs. He is not neutered (new owners choice in doing so) and recently developed a skin allergy this past spring. He is on apoquel, which is an allergy suppressant. Other than that, he is in great shape for his age.
