Story
MEET Jordy! Jordy and another dog were being given away for free on the Nextdoor App. They were picked up by a lady but it was not a good fit for her RV lifestyle. She was caught dumping them in carriers on the Mini Mutts President's front porch! Jordy is an adorable, 5 year old, little Pomeranian and weighs 10lbs! Sadly, Jordy was not handled by people as a young pup and prefers not to be picked up or to be petted but will give your fingers sweet kisses! He has a sweet temperament! Jordy is a sweet and happy, tail wagging little guy and gets along great with other dogs. Other dogs are his jam!! Jordy is looking for that special person that understands that he doesn't feel comfortable being petted but enjoys just being around his person... just one foot away! ( he doesn't kiss on the first date!). Jordy is most comfortable around other small dogs so needs another small dog in the home! Want to meet this sweet boy? EMAIL: mini-mutts@outlook.com (fosters /adopters must reside in the Dallas Metroplex or surrounding areas only) ONE WEEK HOME TRIAL BEFORE ADOPTING! * MUST HAVE ANOTHER SMALL DOG * NO LARGE DOGS * NO APARTMENTS * NO CHILDREN UNDER 8 YRS

Story
🐶 Meet Roy Roy is a sweet 8-year-old senior dog with a calm, gentle personality. He’s a very loyal and protective companion who forms strong bonds with the people he loves. Once Roy trusts you, he’ll be your quiet little shadow and your biggest supporter. He has a calm and collected temperament, making him a wonderful dog for someone looking for a relaxed companion. Roy is very tame, affectionate, and enjoys being around people. He loves having company and spending time with his humans, whether that’s relaxing together inside or enjoying some fresh air outside. Because Roy is so devoted, he can have a bit of separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone is around often or where he won’t be left alone for long periods. With the right family, Roy will give back endless loyalty, love, and companionship. Roy would thrive in a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, cared for, and close to the people he loves.

Story
Matzah is a 10-month-old Pomeranian mix who is sweet, social, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s the type of dog who wants to be close to his people, soak up affection, and make sure you never feel lonely again. This happy little guy loves car rides and enjoys going for walks, making him a great companion for errands, adventures, and weekend outings. He has a fun, outgoing personality and brings a lot of life to the room wherever he goes. Matzah does well with other dogs, but he can come on a little strong when first meeting new doggy friends. He gets very excited and may bark when he sees potential new playmates, so he will do best with a family who understands puppy energy and can help him continue learning calm greetings and good social manners. He is crate trained, doing great with potty training, and is also good with gentle children, making him a wonderful option for a family home. Matzah is still young and learning, but he has an amazing foundation and is going to be an absolutely incredible companion for someone ready to give him structure, love, and continued guidance. If you want a cheerful little shadow with a big heart and a fluffy personality to match, Matzah is ready to meet you! Story
Neeko was originally our pet, he was later rehome because the couple really loved him. Neeko was 2 years old then. 2 1/2 years later I get a call from a vet stating they have my pet, I was confused. So I get there and turns out Neeko has been abandoned and kicked out of his home and left on the streets. A good civilian had seen him and took as much care for him as he would roam around the streets and eat food off her porch. They found the original owner as the scan his chip. Neeko is 5 years old now and 2 1/2 years have passed and we cannot have him in our home for many reasons. Neeko needs a nice warm home with lots of love and attention. He loves attention. He does bark, he’s not shy for that. Neeko is Merle and many people adore him. He’s house trained and listen when asking him questions, do you need to go outside, eat or snack. He will show attention and listen.

Story
Meet DarcyDarcy is a 20-pound bundle of spunk, sass, and pure joy! At around 2 years old, this small mixed-breed sweetheart has already done the hard part — raising her babies (who are all in their forever homes!) — and now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby. When Darcy first came to rescue, she was heartworm positive, but she bravely completed treatment and is now heartworm-free and thriving. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her fresh start.Darcy is full of personality and loves to run and play in the backyard with her toys. She does great with other dogs and would enjoy a playful companion, but she’s also okay being an only dog if she gets plenty of attention. She’s potty trained with frequent trips outside and is learning that leash walks and the crate aren’t so scary — she just needs a little patience and consistency. She can be a bit vocal when she gets excited (she definitely has opinions), so she would likely do best in a home rather than an apartment.Fun, loyal, spirited, and resilient — Darcy is ready to leave her mama days behind and step into a life where she’s spoiled, loved, and cherished. If you’re looking for a bright, lively companion to fill your home with personality, Darcy might just be your perfect matchTo set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** He has some hip/back pain at intake and on pain meds for awhile but now he just takes supplements for joints and he's doing well. ***** Temperament:  Flannel was a little spicy when he came into the rescue, so he's called Chili in his foster home as often as he is Flannie.  It could just be the chihuahua in him or his past.  He was found abandoned in a crate with two other dogs on a hot day in a rough part of town in San Francisco.  No food or water in a wire crate for days, hot and scared.  Luckily a homeless person hiked to a gas station to use their phone to call the local shelter who took them in.  He was a mess with matted hair and overgrown nails.  He was brave and defended his little buddy but once he was alone with the shelter workers he was a sweetie looking for cuddles. They called Recycled Poms and we made arrangements to pick him up.  He's done great here, and is a sweetheart.  He loves his foster dad and is usually on his lap, on his blanket on the couch next to him, or curled up on dad's blanket on the floor.  I don't think he left the couch for weeks, kind of got possessive for a bit, but he's one of the pack now.  Dad and couch still his favorite though.  He gets along with all the other littles in the house, and the cat, and the big dog but he tends to try to boss her around, and a little yappy at her.  Loves to chase her when she goes out to run.  As sweet as he can be he does not like to be surprised so he has bitten (sharp teeth!) when he's unaware of an incoming nudge or pick up.  Those have gotten farther apart though.  So, he will not be adopted to a home where there will be young children who can be unpredictable.  He needs an adopter that can read his body language because he will tell you if he's not liking something.  He likes to be carried so he'd be a good traveling companion, but car travel is best in a carrier or belted in the back seat because he likes to get in your lap.  He's very food motivated, loves treats and soft foods.  He's got a funny little bark and a bad habit of being very vocal about anyone leaving the house.  He needs patience with potty training, he wears a belly band now and will wee on just about anything.  But his foster home has many dogs now and over the years so hopefully consistency and just his own smells will be all it takes to make him a good boy.  He's such a little cutie awaiting his forever home!   -- Where did he come from: Stray in San Francisco California  Adoption: ***** $500.00 ***** Weight: 7 lbs. Approximate age: 7 years ADOPTION APPLICATION: http://www.recycledpoms.org/application -- Email info@recycledpomeranians.com to request a printable application. --   ------Please remember our group is made of only volunteers all of whom have full time jobs, foster fur-kids, and families of their own, so please be patient.-------- March 7, 2026, 9:52 am
