Bear is a 2-year-old, 65 lb neutered Siberian Husky with striking looks and a sweet personality. Both of his parents are Siberian Huskies, and his dad carries the agouti wooly gene — which gives Bear a unique coat texture and a distinctive, slightly fuller look than your typical husky. Add in one blue eye and one brown eye, and he’s truly a standout. Beyond his looks, Bear is a well-rounded young dog. He’s house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands. He’s used to being crated and settles well. He’s also fantastic with kids and has a gentle, affectionate side — he loves climbing into your lap for pets and attention. As you’d expect from a husky, Bear loves the snow and being outdoors. He enjoys playtime and does well with medium and larger dogs. He hasn’t been around small dogs, so that would need thoughtful introductions. He does chase cats, though he has never hurt one — because of that instinct, a cat-free home would likely be the best fit. Bear is still working on leash manners and recall, so a securely fenced yard is a must to help him safely burn off energy and continue training. He’s vocal when lonely in his crate or when he’s outside playing and excited, but he doesn’t do the classic husky howl. Bear would thrive with an active home that understands the husky breed and can provide structure, exercise, and continued training. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly handsome companion who’s just as happy playing in the snow as he is curled up in your lap.
