Story
Max is one of the sweetest dogs but can be shy at first. Loves to play and is very energetic. Love cuddles and belly rubs. Gets along great with our dogs. He is house trained but needs you go out more frequently than other dogs. Part of the reason we can't keep him is that we both work full time and I'll be starting law school soon and won't be home frequently enough. Needs to be mentally stimulated fairly often.

Hi, my name is Gilbert and I'm from Missouri. Gilbert is a very sweet older guy with beautiful blue eyes and a white fluffy coat! He is good on a leash, housetrained and good with cats. He is on mediation but takes his meds easily with pill pouches. He is good in the car and loves going on walks and enjoying the outdoors!

Hi, my name is Mimi and I am from Arkansas! Meems (MiMi) has an expression that makes you want to comfort and care for her. She isn't sure how to feel about that at first, but once she's in she sticks around. She also can't hide that she's happy to see someone when they get home for work. This girl is meant to be someone's calmly doted-upon little furbaby. Fav qualities: * Cuddle bug- Sleeps through the night in your arms * Good with other dogs- not an ounce of aggressive tendencies Work in progress: * Confidence- "uuuhhhhhh. I'm scared. I'll just scurry away and crouch down." * House-training- "Outside! Yay! Poop & pee complete. Inside now, hm, poop some more." * Leash training- "What is this attached to me? I think I should try to get away from it." * General obedience/commands- "You want me to do what??" From the Vet: Mimi came to us with a few health issues, but none preventing her from being a wonderful addition to her new forever family! She came from a situation with less than ideal conditions so she was recovering from a mild skin infection that has resolved and her hair is growing back nicely. She was diagnosed with low grade bilateral luxating patella's, however she is not showing signs of pain or loss of ability to walk so surgical correction is not recommended at this time. She will be getting her spay and dental surgery at the end of July after which she will be in recovery (low activity and possibly soft food diet temporarily) for about 2 weeks after which she will have a new lease on life!

Hi! My name is Al and I am from Minnesota Al is so sweet and such a goofball. He is super smart, both house and kennel trained and loves to play! Al is great with other dogs and seems to be good with cats (although he has only been around them once for a few hours)! He loves to run around and if he could, he would be outside all day. Although he does love a nice comfy couch or bed inside. From the foster: He is a little skittish around some people but after some time, he does warm up to them. It is best to approach him slowly and let him come to you. Once he trusts you he will fall right into your lap and let you hold him as if he was a tiny lap dog.
