What we know: Three male pug mixes transferred from Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley in NM at 1.5 years old. Part of a litter of 5, finder claimed they wandered on his property and wouldn't leave and no one around owned them. He surrendered them to the shelter because he did not want pets. Other 2 brothers came to CPR last Thursday, these three came later as there was no room for them in ASCMV's transport van on their last trip.
From the foster: 🐾 Cash, but we’ve been calling him Frank since he didn’t respond to Cash, has been coming out of his shell —and his personality is absolutely adorable! 💕
This handsome guy is a timid, independent little pug type with a big personality to match. He knows what he likes, has a mind of his own, and will happily keep you entertained with his charming antics.
He may not be the pup who runs up to greet you or immediately leaps into your arms—and that’s okay. This sweet boy just needs a little time, patience, and a safe place to let his heart open.
Cash (Frank) isn’t looking for someone who expects instant cuddles or affection. He’s looking for someone who understands that trust is something you build, not something you rush. Someone willing to be patient, give him space, and let him discover that he’s safe.
One of his favorite hobbies? Collecting treasures! He loves finding interesting items around the house and carefully gathering them up to stash in his bed or kennel. We think he’s building his very own collection of important belongings.
Cash (Frank) is the perfect balance of playful and chill. He’s happy to head out for a nice 30-minute neighborhood walk, sniffing and exploring along the way, but once he’s home, he’s equally happy to curl up in his bed or stretch out in a sunny spot on the deck.
He’s also a great nighttime companion—He sleeps through the night and is doing wonderfully with his potty training! He occasionally gets a little confused and decides that surely it must be morning already, but he’s making great progress.
Cash (Frank) is a fun pup with a big personality, a silly little streak, and plenty of love to give. If you’re looking for a companion who can enjoy an adventure with you and then happily spend the afternoon lounging in the sunshine, He might just be your guy!
Cash (Frank) is ready to find his forever home. Could you be the lucky person who gets to discover all of his quirky, lovable habits?
