Story
Hello, I'm Mike and I really enjoy playing with other dogs and enjoy being around people as long as they know a few guidelines. I absolutely LOVE to snuggle with people.  I really like if you'll play ball with me or take walks together and while I'm thinking about it, other kinds of toys are a lot of fun too.  I'm great at watching movies because it lets me perfect my couch potato skills.   While I like to cuddle and get into the personal space of my people, I don't necessarily like to have my space invaded.  I enjoy head pets and will let you know when I am overwhelmed. I am very vocal.  I do have some rules and I need structure from my humans so that I don't take advantage and know my boundaries.   I would do best in a home with a patient person who is willing to take things slowly with me and enforce good boundaries for me.  It's mostly small things that help give me structure like reminding me to walk through doorways last and sit for food and treats.  Because I am a work in progress, I would not do well with children. I am kennel and potty trained, and good with other pets.  I won't eat your favorite shoes or chew on the furniture, And, do I even need to mention how cute I am?  Just look at my overbite, I know, it's hard to resist. Are you interested in meeting me and seeing if I could be your good buddy?  Please click on my link for more information and let my friends at Demi's know when we can play ball. All dogs are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, heartworm tested (if over 6 months old) and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, bordetella, rabies(if age appropriate) ) ##1677280##

1025115 - Meet Brody! Brody is a sweet, gentle 1–2 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix searching for his forever home. This little guy has a kind soul and a good-natured personality, though he can be a bit shy at first. Once he feels safe and loved, his warm and affectionate side shines through! Brody enjoys the company of other dogs but is perfectly content doing his own thing when the group gets busy. He’s house trained, crate trained and his favorite pastime is curling up on the couch and spending quiet moments with his people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love to give, Brody might just be your perfect match! To adopt him, complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2558027##

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Dale finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Dale | 1 y.o. Puggle | Gentle Soul with a Big Heart Meet Dale, a 1-year-old Puggle weighing 24 pounds with a fawn and black coat and a heart as soft as his floppy ears and soulful eyes. This sweet boy has come a long way since being rescued from a tough start - he was found with a nylon cord tied tightly around his neck and was so scared at the shelter that he landed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, he’s discovered what safety and love feel like, and he’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion. When Dale first arrived in his foster home, he was shy and uncertain, often cowering as if he expected to be hurt. But with patience, kindness, and the help of his foster siblings, he learned that humans can be trusted. Now, he happily comes for pets from his foster parents and loves to snuggle with his dog friends. Dale is calm, friendly, and easygoing. He enjoys going for walks and does beautifully on leash. He’s almost fully house trained (just the occasional accident) and does great when left home alone, especially with another dog for company. He is not crated when left alone, but he’s perfectly behaved when uncrated. This little guy adores small and medium dogs and spends his days playing and cuddling with his foster’s two 5-month old puppies. Larger dogs, however, can make him uneasy, and he may bark at them. He’s been wonderful with cats, paying them no mind, and while he hasn’t met children yet, his gentle and non-reactive nature suggests he’d do well with kids of all ages. Dale’s ideal home would include another small or medium-sized dog to help him feel secure and continue showing him that people can be trusted. He’s motivated by love and gentle affection (and soft, jerky-style treats!) and will quickly bond with those who show him patience and kindness. After a rough beginning, Dale is ready for a new chapter filled with comfort, play, and love. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow companion who just wants to belong, Dale will melt your heart the moment you meet him.   If you and Dale are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Pope is absolutely hilarious - he’s got things to do and places to see. Don’t let his age fool you, Pope loves exploring on walks and loves to play. Pope has done well with our dog, though he is mostly uninterested in him so he would do well in a house with or without other dogs. He really loves people and loves to be by your side to get all the pets and treats. He needs a refresh on some of his manners like jumping and appropriate places to potty, but he’s extremely food motivated so I think this will be a breeze. He does well in his crate and slept through the night which was great! He really likes to try to squeeze himself through any gaps in your fence, so he needs to be supervised outside.  If you’re looking for a snoring potato with a lot of love to give, Pope is your guy.  Pope was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2565922##
