Story
Reggie (Reginald) is really excellent on walks, he needs some training with greeting strangers because right now he wants great everyone and sometimes barks for their attention but is so far very trainable. He is good in the crate at night, he hasn’t panicked about it, just the usual wining for a couple minutes. He doesn’t need to be crated during the day when I go on errands , I have a camera to watch when I’m gone and he wines way less when he’s free and just sleeps on the couch. Reggie is learning how to play with other dogs, because I assume he’s never been in a safe enough environment to do so before, he is so sweet and gentle when trying to get my older semi cranky dog to play. Was very quick to house train but will still need a decent amount of opportunity to go outside throughout the day to solidify this skill. He is so so snuggly, all he wants in life is to be loved and be near his people. He would thrive in a variety of homes, as long as he has company and isn’t left alone for many hours constantly, because he’s so loving. He will match almost any forever home’s energy, whether he’s a companion to sleep on an elderly person’s lap and do just a stroll around the neighborhood, or an active family that goes on long hikes, or if someone travels and needs a shotgun rider to keep them company, he is just down for the ride with someone who loves him as much as he loves you!  ##2661616##

Story
If you’re looking for a truly sweet little sidekick, we’re happy to introduce Winston! This adorable gentleman is a 1-year-old “chug” — an irresistibly cute pug and chihuahua blend — weighing in at about 13 pounds. True to both breeds, Winston is an attentive, affectionate boy who will adore you as much as you adore him. What we love about Winston:  His personality: sweet, gentle, happy-go-lucky.  He is smart, adventurous, eager to learn, and always up for a cuddle.  Loves walks and does wonderfully on leash.  Crate trained, sleeps through the night, and does great with potty routines.  Plays beautifully with dog friends and his people — and settles in nicely for a cozy nap afterward.  Enjoys puzzles, snuffle mats, and will happily self-entertain with his favorite toys (preferably near his people ).  He’s building confidence and independence with great positive reinforcement, structure, and supportive new experiences.  That underbite! That curly tail!   Winston would thrive in a home with engaged adopters who enjoy including their dog in daily life. A playful, well-balanced canine sibling could be a wonderful match, though he would also be happy as your solo sidekick with a thoughtful enrichment routine and opportunities to socialize. He has been wonderful meeting new people, dogs large and small, and is also neutral with cats. If you are looking for a charming companion who will make you laugh, join you on outings, and happily curl up at the end of the day, Winston could be a wonderful match.  Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375 February 17, 2026, 10:33 am

Story
Meet Gus Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Sex: Male DOB: 12/2/2025 Weight: 6 Pounds Health: Healthy and growing Gus is a joyful, wiggly little boy with expressive eyes and a personality bigger than his small body. He combines the affectionate silliness of a Pug with the alert intelligence of a Chihuahua. At three months old, he is in that magical puppy phase — full of curiosity, playfulness, and attachment. Personality Gus is playful, affectionate, and eager to connect. He loves toys, enjoys exploring, and lights up when he receives attention. After playtime, he happily melts into cuddles. He is forming his confidence now, and with steady guidance, he will grow into a loyal, devoted little companion who bonds closely with his family. Breed Info This mix often produces dogs who are loving, expressive, and people-focused. They can be alert and protective of their home, and they thrive in environments where they feel included and secure. Moderate exercise, daily engagement, and positive training are key to raising a well-balanced adult. Owner Responsibilities Gus needs consistent house training, structured socialization, and daily engagement. Puppies require supervision and patience. He will also need routine vet care and breed-aware monitoring as he grows. Raising a puppy is hands-on work — it is rewarding, but it requires time and dedication. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Are you ready for interrupted sleep during potty training? Is your landlord aware and approving? Are you financially prepared for vaccinations, neutering, food, and potential emergencies? Will Gus still have a home if you move or your schedule changes? Puppies are a long-term commitment, not a temporary stage. Vet Care Even though Gus is healthy, establishing care with your own veterinarian immediately ensures proper growth tracking, vaccination continuation, and long-term health planning. The 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days he may be unsure or overly excited. The first 3 weeks he will start settling into your schedule. The first 3 months he will fully trust and attach to you. Consistency builds security. Why Gus? Gus will grow into someone’s loyal little shadow. With love, patience, and structure, he will offer joy, companionship, and devotion for years to come.
