Story
Meet Eloise, an adorable 6-month-old Pug mix with a face that will melt your heart, complete with a charming little underbite! She's a perfect size, weighing in at around 13 lbs, making her an ideal fit for any family. Eloise is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with people and has shown great compatibility with dogs of all sizes. While her past remains a mystery, the only known part of her history is a heartbreaking one. She was tragically hit by a car in Texas and left to fend for herself. It's disheartening to think of the cruelty she endured. When her story and sweet face touched our hearts, the team at 2BABR sprang into action. Eloise underwent surgery to mend her broken leg, which had been dangling and immobile for a significant period. The prognosis for her recovery is positive, and she should (now) regain full use of her leg once she has healed. Eloise is currently rocking the household vibe, cohabiting with both other dogs and children like a seasoned pro. Not only is she a pro at keeping things tidy with her potty training skills, but she's also got the doggy door game down pat. This gal is a ball of energy, bringing that delightful high-energy pup vibe to the mix. Living her best life in a dynamic environment, Eloise is the perfect blend of social and savvy! Before she can find her forever home, Eloise still requires spaying and correction of both her cherry eyes through surgical intervention (complete cost of which will be covered by the rescue). Despite the challenges she's faced, this resilient pup is eager to find her loving forever family and embark on her journey to live her best life! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1858108##

Story
Wilbert is a truly delightful middle-aged gentleman (eight years old) who is thriving despite a year of big changes for him! Wilbert was diagnosed with diabetes in April, and then he developed cataracts. Unfortunately, because of the cataracts, Wilbert can no longer see. He seems to have taken all these changes in stride, including the transition into his foster home, which he tolerated considerably well! Wilbert is super easygoing and gets along with other dogs. He is good with kids and wags his tail in happiness when he gets love from his foster family. He is housetrained and crate trained, though we only use a crate overnight (as a precaution) to keep him safe and secure since he cannot see. Because of his diabetes, Wilbert would do best with a caregiver who either works from home or is retired. He also must be kept on a regular feeding schedule, with 10-12 hours in between feedings being the ideal schedule for helping to regulate his glucose. Wilbert requires prescription dog food and insulin twice daily after meals. If you have a dog currently, do not let him/her read over your shoulder for this next part: Wilbert should NOT snack between meals. I know. Don’t tell your dog we ever used those words together in that order. It’s heartbreaking, especially for pugs, but Wilbert is a mentally strong puggy and has accepted this as his truth. He has thus taken charge of his health! (But he is *very* happy at feeding time. VERY happy!😆) In his free time, Wilbert likes short walks, naps, greeting people who come and go, chewing on dog toys, sunbathing, and cuddling. He has no bad habits, and his only accidents occurred when he arrived and had a UTI. Once we treated that with antibiotics, he was back to pottying only outside. Wilbert is worth every bit of the extra time and money his health situation requires. He pays back in love and snuggles and companionship and tail wags💕 Good boy, Wilbert.

Story
Norman is a 5.5-month-old Pug rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested and neutered. This puppy is currently in foster care learning home etiquette, kennel training, and housebreaking. We would love for you to meet this puppy and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *On December 16, we will be hosting our annual Deck the Paws adoption event! We will be at Maxline Brewing (2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins, CO 80525) from 11am-1pm. Our holds for this event will expire at 11:30am.* We will not be hosting adoption events on December 23 or December 30. Private adoption appointments will be available for the remainder of the year. Happy Holidays! For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Ever heard of a sweet Tater Tot? Well, let me introduce you to one! Tater Tot is the sweetest, friendliest, happiest little boy ever!! I mean, just look at that smile! And you can probably tell by that telltale cinnamon bun tail, he’s part Pug. Not sure what the other part is, but more than likely Beagle. Whatever Tater may be made up of, he is 100% adorable and his eyeliner game is on point! Here’s what he has to say for himself (duh, of course he talks). “Hi I’m Tater Tot, and I’m quirky! I’m not like a regular quirky, I’m a cool quirky, or at least that’s what they keep telling me 😄 Personally, I just think it makes me all the more endearing 🥰 I’m not really sure what made me this way – maybe it’s just my age, I am only 1½ after all – but I do know that I am so much happier after leaving TX and getting to come to CO. And speaking of happy, I’m a pretty easy guy to please. I just need 2 naps, a good amount of chewing, playing (inside and outside), snuggling, and 2 or 3 short little walks every day, and I’ll be the happiest little Tot ever! Sometimes I get a little too happy and excited when I get overstimulated. And I am working very hard on learning how to keep that all in check. My foster mom tells me all the time how smart I am and how quickly I learn things, but sometimes it’s really difficult. Like when I go outside, especially for walks……can you blame me though? Have you seen what’s out there? Outside is the best and I want to get to wherever we’re going as fast as I can! There’s so many interesting things to see, hear, sniff, and yes, sometimes try to eat (my least cool quirk, by far 🫤). If I do try and eat something I’m not supposed to, I’m asked to drop it and then am given a delicious treat when I do. I love when that happens! If I don’t listen, then I don’t get a treat and we have to go inside. I don’t like it when that happens. But not as much as I don’t like being scolded or yelled at. That makes me very sad and scared. I am all about the positive reinforcement and redirection!! Now for the basics, I am fully potty trained, sleep wonderfully in my crate at night, I’m not able to free roam unsupervised yet, but hopefully that will come with time and training, and I love all dogs and people. In fact, I would really love to have my very own doggie sibling to play with and help me learn the ways of the doggie world. I will thrive in a calm and structured home environment, with a family that is around most of the time. I love spending time with my people and want them to be an active part of my life. Oh, and I definitely need a fenced-in yard, there’s nothing better than running around without a harness and leash! If you think I might be a good fit for your family, I would really love to meet you!” Tater Tot is in foster in Westminster, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/tater-tot-2/. As the moon waned, they found themselves back in their world, but in a shelter. Panther, with his sweet, friendly, and cuddly nature, continues to spread love. He and Peluchin, the inseparable love bugs, are ready to bring their magic into a loving home. Adopt Panther and let his love enchant your life.
