Yes please!  Meet Max, the pint-sized powerhouse who proves that the best things in life come in wrinkled packages. This charming pug is a master of the comedic arts, ready to fill your home with snorts, sighs, and a level of devotion that only a flat-faced friend can provide. If you are looking for a companion who is part athlete, part couch potato, and 100% personality, Max is your man.Max is a professional people-watcher who believes his main job is to be wherever you are. Whether he is performing his signature curly-tailed wiggle to greet you at the door or tilting his head in deep thought while you tell him about your day, he is always fully engaged. He has a sturdy build and a brave heart, making him the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls, followed immediately by a world-class nap. Max is a social butterfly who treats every stranger like a long-lost friend and every snack like a monumental event. If you are ready for a life filled with laughter and the softest forehead wrinkles in town, Max is ready to move in.Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. While he may come in a compact, wrinkled Pug package, Blue clearly didn't get the memo on his size. He carries himself with the athletic spirit and social grace of a retriever, making him the perfect bridge between lap dog luxury and big-dog adventure. Blue is a master of the Lab lifestyle. He possesses a bottomless appetite for snacks, an unwavering devotion to his human pack, and a tail that wiggles with the intensity of a rudder. Unlike your typical sedentary Pug, Blue loves to be in the middle of the action, whether that means supervising a game of fetch or joining the big dogs for a romp in the yard. He has a sturdy, resilient nature and a heart that is far too large for his ribcage. If you are looking for a companion who offers the hilarious charm of a Pug with the loyal, easy-going temperament of a Lab, Blue is ready to join your lineup.Want to adopt this dog? Story
Imagining what Oliver's life was like before rescue is not something I let myself think too hard about. Never knowing a loving touch just wrecks my heart. He is cute, funny, has the best smile, and the biggest personality. He's now been in rescue for 6 months and has made tremendous progress, he still has a long long way to go and I am determined to help him. This profile is a brutally honest progress report for this brave guy!   He wants to engage and does to the extent he is comfortable, which is BIG! In a matter of weeks he was taking treats from my hand and from strangers, is excited to see me, will put his paws on me and lick my hands/face, will work for food, and shows his funny personality. He absolutely loves my dog Rip and will cuddle up next to him. The other dogs in the home have been instrumental for Oliver to watch and learn from and he respects the alpha of the house. He was great with  foster kittens and likes to follow them around and is learning not to chase them.   He is 99% potty trained. I have to go out with him and watch that he is "go potty" and reward him with a "yes, good boy" and treats. He will gladly get out of your way if you walk towards him but will follow so close behind you he'll give you a flat tire. He does sleep through the night with us in bed because laying down is a very non threatening position and I am hoping it builds trust with him. I have gotten a couple harnesses on him but he has Houdini'd his way out of them. In order to get them on I have to throw a blanket over him to be able to pick him up. He is making huge strides in his kennel training when I go to work or leave the house. When I need him to go in there I do have to somewhat corral him with a yoga mat but he is going in there much much easier as we keep practicing.   He loves his toys and shouldn't be left alone with stuff toys because he eats them.  ##2605241##

Story
From her loving foster: "This sweet girl arrived in rescue just days before giving birth to three Pugtatoes on 12/18/2026. She is about 3.5-4 years and has been used as a breeding tool all of her life. She has been a patient and loving mama to all her babies but now that’s all behind her and she's ready to be the baby! "Paola a very chill little dog, about 13 pounds, who loves every person and dog she meets (has not been cat tested, but I bet she would love them too).  She has taken to potty training and the indoor life like a star and while she loves to be near her foster Mom, she is not clingy. She is social, silly, and oh so sweet. While her sons have been adopted, she is still extraordinarily close with her only daughter.  Her foster mom’s dream is that she and Clara (also posted for adoption) are adopted together and she will have one baby she never has to have ripped from her.  She will be spayed before leaving foster care and has many years of love and laughs to give!!!" Paola is in Colorado, being fostered in Denver and available to meet! Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster-to-adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa. Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio. ##2696330##

Story
She’s a fun-loving pup who adores toys, enjoys cuddles, and brings a happy burst of energy wherever she goes. Her previous owner shared that she’s potty trained and crate trained, and she’s done well with kids. Because of her past experiences, she’ll need to be the only dog in the home—but she has more than enough love and enthusiasm to fill your world all on her own. She’s ready for an active, affectionate home that enjoys both playtime and snuggle time.
