Larry is with our rescue partner down south and can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter for him Meet Larry, a 12-pound Rat Terrier mix who’s small in size but big in personality! Larry’s journey started as a stray before landing in the shelter, and now he’s enjoying the comfort of a foster home while waiting for his forever family. He was a bit unsure at first (who wouldn’t be after all that change?), but this little guy has blossomed beautifully with love and patience. Larry loves other dogs and will happily bark to invite them to play — he’s a bit of a social butterfly with a dash of “bossy big brother” energy. Don’t worry, it’s all in good fun—he’s not aggressive, just confident! He did great for his bath, uses pee pads w hen needed, and quickly learned to use the doggy door once he joined the rest of the pack. Smart, adaptable, and full of charm, Larry is ready to find a home that will appreciate his spunky spirit and affectionate heart. If you’re looking for a lovable sidekick who will make you laugh and melt your heart every day, Larry might be your guy. Larry is up to date on vaccines and treatment. He is already fixed and his adoption fee is $450. Lacie has been through a lot — heartworm treatment (check ), old leg injury (check ), but she’s tougher than your morning coffee and faster than her limp lets on. She can even clear a 36-inch barrier when her foster mom dares to walk into another room! She follows her person everywhere (loyalty level: stage 5 clinger ), loves other dogs, and even “plays chase” with cats like the playful aunt she is. She’s leash-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and always looks out for her furry friends. Sweet Anna is one of the girls from the "frozen litter" that was surrendered to rescue at 6 weeks old. We were allowed to spay her mom before returning to her family. Both parents are under 15lbs. She is a spunky little girl now looking for her own family. She has been completely vetted and microchipped. She is pee pad trained and just started house training. She will need a family that is will to continue to work with her training and understands puppies can be a lot of work. She will make a wonderful addition to any family. She is fostered in Knoxville TN, but transportation to a location near you is provided by Rescue Riders LLC and is included in the adoption fee.
