Would do great with other Jacks or Rat Terriers or alone as well but needs time to adjust to new surrounding. She came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and is now in a NJ foster home. Meet Hannah, a three-year old terrier mix with the biggest heart in a petite little body. This sweet girl came to the shelter with 2 tiny puppies- and she proved to be the best little mom you could imagine. Her babies have both found their forever homes, and now it's Hannah’s turn to live her best life. Hannah can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, but once she knows you're one of the good ones, she'll shower you with love. She settled in after a couple of hours in her NJ foster home, and immediately found the couch to relax on. She happily greets her foster mom, even when she's only been out of the room. Hannah is doing very well with the other dogs in her foster home, and she's been running around and playing with them - after some initial caution. Hannah enjoys going for walks. She is learning that kids are treat dispensers, and is comfortable with them after a little while. Hannah likes to sleep UNDER the covers. Hannah is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She tested negative for heartworm disease. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy, and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. She came from one of our partner rescues in Louisiana, and is now in a NJ foster home. Lillie can be shy at first with new people and dogs, but she gets over it quickly. My name is Millie! I am about 7 yo 8 years old and 14 lbs; with my big ears, I appear to be a Rat Terrier mix among a few other things. My foster mom and family say I am a really good little girl. I was found trotting along a country road all by myself. My finder drove up in their car and with a little cajoling, I decided it looked safe... safer than what I was dealing with! I am glad I took the plunge and hopped in because I seemed to have hit the foster jackpot. I am dog and people friendly. I am housebroken. I don't require a crate, but I may ask to sleep in your bed! I am good on leash and I love to go on walks. I can be playful but I really enjoy snuggling up next to her humans. I also love to lounge in the sun when it's available. I will let you know when I want to go out for fresh air and when my outdoor time has ended. I am going to make a great little companion! I have not met kids under 10 yet nor those felines.
