Meet Allium, a sweet 2-year-old, 12-pound Rat Terrier mix who has quickly mastered the art of being the perfect companion. She’s loving, calm, affectionate, and wonderfully chill — the kind of dog who is happiest simply being by your side.
Allium is dog- and people-friendly and warms up to new people incredibly quickly. She’s gentle and easygoing, making her a wonderful match for just about anyone, including first-time dog parents. And when we say Allium is an easy houseguest, we mean it! She is fully house-trained and hasn’t had an accident since her very first day. She is also crate-trained and sleeps peacefully through the entire night in her crate. On walks, she has excellent leash manners, making daily strolls a breeze.
Allium is also a smart girl who already knows several commands, including “sit,” “down,” and “come.” Inside the home, she’s calm and well-mannered — the kind of pup who settles right in and makes herself an easy part of your routine. Despite being new to the city, Allium has adjusted amazingly well to her new environment, including all those loud Manhattan noises. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and absolutely loves a good belly rub.
Allium is low-energy and doesn’t need a super-active lifestyle. She enjoys leisurely walks and strolling through the park, but her favorite activity is probably snuggling up next to her humans. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who will happily spend the day relaxing by your side, Allium may be your perfect match.
In short, Allium is the kind of dog who makes life a little sweeter: loving, well-mannered, adaptable, cuddly, and incredibly easy to live with. All she needs now is a forever home where she can give all that love to her very own people.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
