Story
Meet Wingo! Wingo is a sweet, playful young girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is always ready for fun, cuddles, or a tasty treat! She hasn’t met any cats yet, so her feline compatibility is still unknown. Born into Valley Dogs Rescue on March 6, 2026, to her Rottweiler mom, Wingo has been surrounded by love and care from the very beginning. She is a smart puppy who is eager to learn and highly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. Wingo already knows “sit” and is making great progress with “stay.” She is dog-door trained and kennel trained, sleeping comfortably in her kennel at night and relaxing calmly while her family is away. Wingo loves playing with her foster siblings and has a wonderful ability to adjust her play style to match the dogs around her. Whether it’s energetic wrestling with playful pups or gentle interactions with more sensitive companions, she knows how to fit right in. She does well with both large and small dogs. This happy, active girl would thrive in a family that will continue her training, provide plenty of exercise, and include her in everyday adventures. She is microchipped, spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home. To help make her transition easy, Wingo will go home with a collar, leash, harness, bowls, bedding, and toys. Her foster mom is also happy to lend a kennel for the first two weeks if needed. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent, and playful companion who will bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags to your home, Wingo may be the perfect match for you! ❤️🐾 Wingo is ready to start her next adventure—could it be with you? Story
Hi, I’m Ninja… and I’m Looking for My Forever Home &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Hi there… my name is Ninja, and even though it sounds like I’m supposed to be fearless and tough, I’m still working on finding my courage again. I’m probably a Rottweiler mix — that’s what everyone thinks when they see me — but no one knows for sure. What I do know is that I’m a good boy with a big heart who really, really wants a family of my own. I was just a tiny puppy when I was adopted from Central Arizona Animal Rescue (CAAR). I grew up in a home with another dog and two small children — that was the only world I knew for over two years. I learned how to be gentle with kids, play with another dog, and follow my humans around the house. I loved having my own people. Then, one day, everything I knew disappeared. My family returned me to CAAR. I didn’t understand why. Walking back into the shelter after knowing nothing but a home was terrifying. The sounds, the strange smells, the new faces… everything felt too big and too loud. For the first week, I was so scared I could barely stop shaking. But the people at CAAR didn’t give up on me. They spoke softly, moved slowly, and gave me space until I was ready. And then something amazing happened — they introduced me to Lexi, my new dog friend. She’s confident and outgoing, and she seems to think the world is a fun place. So I started watching her… and little by little, I began to think maybe she’s right. Lexi has helped me learn that the shelter isn’t so scary. We play together, we relax together, and she shows me how to be brave when things feel overwhelming. I really like having her around — she makes me feel safe. And now… I’m ready to try again. I’m ready to hope. A Little More About Me &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Probably a Rottweiler mix &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Great with small children &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Great with other dogs &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Neutered &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Microchipped &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Current on all vaccinations &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Sweet, gentle, and just needs some confidence &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Needs the training I didn’t get as a puppy — but I’m eager to learn &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 What I’m Looking For Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who understands that I’ve been through a lot of big changes in a short amount of time. I’m not the dog who’s going to run through your door and instantly act like I’ve lived with you forever. I’m the dog who will watch quietly at first — learning your voice, your routine, the way your hand moves when you reach to pet me. But once I know I’m safe? I’ll love you with my whole heart. I’d do best in a home with another friendly dog (like Lexi!) and with people who don’t mind giving me time to settle in. Kids? I’m already used to them. Other dogs? I grew up with one. A stable, loving family? That’s what I dream about every night. If You Choose Me… I’ll give you loyalty. I’ll give you trust. I’ll give you love that grows stronger every day. I’ll work hard to learn the things I didn’t get to learn when I was small. And I’ll be grateful — deeply, quietly grateful — every single day. Want to Meet Me? If you think you might be the person who can help me become brave again, I’d really love to meet you. Please email: mike@caaronline.org I’m waiting — hopeful, healing, and ready for my forever family. Maybe that family is yours.   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Darling little Benji! This little boy is playful & sooo sweet! Perfect personality, playful and loving. His little tail is always wagging and he's generous with his kisses. Just a little doll! We're guessing him to be a 3 month old Rottie mix. He's neutered, vaccinated & microchipped.

Story
Young Rottweiler male probably around 10 months old. He know sit, down, come, wait, spin, paw, and loves to show off his talent for a treat. Good with people and other dogs that he is introduced to properly. Knows basic obedience and walks well on a leash with a training collar. He is potty trained, crate trained and he does not mark everything he sees. All of our dogs would benefit from ongoing training.he is going to make someone so happy. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.

These pups are in Apache Junction, Arizona too!

Story
Bugger was a gift from abusive ex boyfriend. He doesn't warm up to men for a long time. He is terrified of anyone yelling or loud. He will shake and tremble or run and hide. He has a nervous shake. He loves women, has slept with me his entire life. Bed hog, has to be touching me Food is his favorite thing in life. Loves to swim but doesn't like a bath. He calms himself by sucking on soft blanket. Finding some place to live with a Pitty has proven next to impossible. I work full time & spends all day on my bed waiting for me. I can no longer arrange my life around him. The last 4 yrs I have lived in scary places just so I could keep him. I can't do it anymore or afford it. He has been thru a lot with me, is my best friend. I am crying while writing this. I am really torn as to what to do. He would be better with another dog. Has always been only dog but would be happier if he had a friend. I have spoiled him him. Walks without leash, not a runner or aggressive with anything. He's 9.
