Meet Wingo! Wingo is a sweet, playful young girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is always ready for fun, cuddles, or a tasty treat! She hasn’t met any cats yet, so her feline compatibility is still unknown. Born into Valley Dogs Rescue on March 6, 2026, to her Rottweiler mom, Wingo has been surrounded by love and care from the very beginning. She is a smart puppy who is eager to learn and highly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. Wingo already knows “sit” and is making great progress with “stay.” She is dog-door trained and kennel trained, sleeping comfortably in her kennel at night and relaxing calmly while her family is away. Wingo loves playing with her foster siblings and has a wonderful ability to adjust her play style to match the dogs around her. Whether it’s energetic wrestling with playful pups or gentle interactions with more sensitive companions, she knows how to fit right in. She does well with both large and small dogs. This happy, active girl would thrive in a family that will continue her training, provide plenty of exercise, and include her in everyday adventures. She is microchipped, spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home. To help make her transition easy, Wingo will go home with a collar, leash, harness, bowls, bedding, and toys. Her foster mom is also happy to lend a kennel for the first two weeks if needed. If you're looking for a loving, intelligent, and playful companion who will bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags to your home, Wingo may be the perfect match for you! ❤️🐾 Wingo is ready to start her next adventure—could it be with you? Young Rottweiler male probably around 10 months old. He know sit, down, come, wait, spin, paw, and loves to show off his talent for a treat. Good with people and other dogs that he is introduced to properly. Knows basic obedience and walks well on a leash with a training collar. He is potty trained, crate trained and he does not mark everything he sees. All of our dogs would benefit from ongoing training.he is going to make someone so happy. Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.

Purebred roittweiler.   Has had some formal training. He knows commands in english and in German. Good with people,  good with kids. And he is good with most dogs. Story
Gazan is amazing if you give him time to trust you before you put any pressure on him. He doesn't trust people too quickly, but it seems that it's a pretty solid relationship once you bond with him. It took me two weeks to get to that point, and it took my husband three weeks to get there with him. He does have a bite record. He bit his previous owner; Gazan was eating, and his owner stuck his arm through a pool fence to pet him, and Gazan got his hand. That is strange to think of him doing that because he seems very relaxed when eating. I have walked around him closely & picked up the water bowl next to his food bowl to refill it, and he didn't do anything, not even a growl or shift his weight or anything. I know that there were young teens in his original home, and he did fine with them. He is a ball freak, and you have to be willing to throw his ball for him - a lot. You have to have patience and contain yourself from touching him for at least a week or two. He will come to you when he is ready. He does not like strangers in his personal space, just like you or I don't, and he hates it as much as we do during Covid. I had a family come and meet him a couple of weeks ago, and they were playing with him, and he was doing great with them. Then he decided to take a little break and lay down on his bed. The dad decided to kneel right in front of his bed and talk to him, and he gave a little bark and a lunge to warn him to back up. That scared the guy, but Gazan didn't touch him, and as soon as the guy backed up, he was okay with him again. They were here with him for about an hour. I took him to a training class a couple of weeks ago, and rottweilers and their handlers surrounded us in 4-6 feet in all directions, and he was perfect. He walks perfectly on a leash and knows all his basic commands well in English and Armenian. He is highly treat and toy motivated, and that's also the quickest way to win his heart. From what I have observed, he matches the attitude of other dogs. If they are friendly, he is too. If they are aggressive, then game on. It's probably best to match him with a female, but he could enjoy a male friend. I recommend that he is not matched with a small dog. If you are looking for your companion dog to double as a guard dog, then Gazan is your guy. He can be very protective of the people he loves. He is a very smart dog, and his potential is only limited by the time that can not be invested in him. This dog can be a rockstar if you have time on your side! He is worth the trouble.

Meet Chanel — the tiny girl who once searched the streets just trying to survive. This adorable little “gremlin” was found wandering alone, desperately scavenging for food and wondering where her next meal would come from. You could see it in her eyes — she had been let down by the world far too many times. But despite the hardship she endured, Chanel never stopped being gentle, loving, and hopeful. Since coming into rescue, Chanel has completely blossomed. She’s gained healthy weight, learned that meals come regularly, and no longer eats as though it might be her last. Watching her slowly realize she is safe has been nothing short of heartbreaking and beautiful all at once. ❤️ Now living in a foster home, Chanel gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, and we anticipate she would do great with respectful children as well. She’s learning how to use the doggie door, does well in her crate, and truly just wants to make her people happy. More than toys or treats, Chanel wants what she’s likely never had before — a family to love her forever. She has the sweetest soul, the kind of dog that will follow you from room to room just happy to finally belong somewhere. After everything she’s been through, Chanel deserves a soft bed, full bowls, warm cuddles, and a home where she will never be abandoned again. Chanel’s $200 adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and testing negative for Distemper and Ehrlichia. If you think you could be the happy ending this precious girl has been waiting for, please fill out an application to arrange a meet and greet, followed by a home check. Please help us find Chanel the forever home she’s spent her whole life searching for.      June 20, 2026, 11:07 am

Millie is a 3.5-year-old, 29-pound Doberman blend who recently joined us and is now hoping to find her forever home!Millie can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and you’ll quickly discover what a sweetheart she truly is. She enjoys human companionship and is ready to bond closely with a family of her own. While Millie does fine interacting with other dogs, she prefers not to share her favorite humans or her toys. Because of this, we believe she’ll be happiest as the only spoiled canine companion in the home — and honestly, she’s more than ready to soak up all the love and attention for herself!Millie is house-trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. She’s an energetic, strong, and active girl who loves to stay on the move and would make an excellent hiking, running, or jogging companion. With her enthusiasm and athletic spirit, she’s always ready for the next adventure by your side.Millie can also be quite the cuddler, so if you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a gentle heart and lots of affection to give, Millie may be the perfect match for you.To get started in the process of meeting Millie, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then come by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Mo and his brother have major dominance problems and are fighting. Mo needs to be only dog in home. When it is just him and owner he is very affectionate, loyal, trainable and eager to please. He really is a great dog. He is dog selective. If Mo were our only dog we would gladly keep him but he has to be the only dog in home.We will assist with training and help with food and supplies.
