Say Hi to Rufus! He is a little over 1yr old, and has a lot of energy. Rufus loves to be outside and running around just sniffing everything in sight. He loves attention and will stick by your side 24/7. He always has that big smile across his face. He isn’t aggressive, doesn’t bark at other dogs, and it good at basic commands (sit, heel, L/R paw, wait, and can walk off leash.) He is good with other dogs and initially had another dog living with him at the time that I got him. With my situation changing and me not being able to be home too often, I feel like it would be best if Rufus got to be in a forever home, ideally with kids and/or another dog to play with or a healthy active couple that would take him outside a lot, he is a big big hiking dog. Meet a handsome 5-year-old male Rottweiler Curtis. Curtis came from a difficult life where he was left outside and neglected. He was underfed and sick. He is now in excellent health, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and ready for his true forever home. He is incredibly sweet and gentle with everyone, including children. He is extremely affectionate and wants constant attention. He has perfect House Manners. He is Calm, does not bark or jump and is crate trained. He loves to play fetch out back or at the park. We have been working with a trainer. He knows basic commands and recalls wells. He also walks well on a leash. Curtis is dog aggressive. He will need to be the only dog in the house and have someone that is physically able to hold him on walks when he encounters other dogs. He suffers from allergies so he will come with Apoquel, heart guard and a flea and tick med.

A long daily walk, consistent schedule, and calm handling help him regulate and settle easily at home. When his needs are met, he’s a well‑mannered companion who enjoys downtime just as much as activity. He has excellent house manners, is dog‑door trained, nail scratch‑board trained, comfortable being home alone, and does not require a crate.
