Story
Meet Rigby, a 2.5-year-old pup who exudes a super chill vibe but isn't shy to indulge in some playful moments. He's great with both small and large dogs and is diligently working on perfecting his potty training. Rigby isn't much of a barker and absolutely adores people. He's quite the snoozer, spending most of his day catching up on Z's. At 70 pounds, Rigby is just a happy-go-lucky, laid-back kind of guy, and he's incredibly trainable too.

Story
Hey there, I'm Waylon, and I'm here to introduce myself as the life of the party - your soon-to-be favorite furry companion!  I'm believed to be a 3-year-old Rottweiler Husky mix, and while I don't have much to share about my past, a kind person found me as a stray and took me to the rescue. I was loving life with my foster family for several months but they can no longer care for me. Now, when I say "life of the party," I mean it! I'm always ready for some fun and games. I absolutely adore fetch, ripping apart stuffed animals, and solving puzzles. And if I'm not doing any of that, well, I might engage you in a friendly wrestle. I can be a bit intense, but I'm all about the good vibes - no harm intended. But here's the deal, I could use a strong owner who can handle my energy and help me with setting boundaries and finding fun ways to channel my enthusiasm. I'm quite the loyal and sassy pup, always curious and ready for an adventure. My foster family said I'm smart, and I have a way of brightening everyone's day. I'm also a good boy when it comes to going to my kennel for bed or nap time, and I hardly bark unless I'm feeling protective or super excited. While I may have a bit of separation anxiety, I'm making progress, and I can be left alone in my crate without a fuss. So, if you're looking for a lively, loving, and fun-loving companion, I just might be your perfect match! I don't know how I feel about other dogs since I was found as a stray, therefore, proper introductions are required if you have other furry friends in the household. If you think we could be a match made in doggy heaven, please reach out to Lucy's Hope. I can't wait to meet you and bring some pawsitive energy into your life! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Panda was adopted at 2 months old by a loving family who unwittingly nurtured all her worst qualities. This resulted in an insecure and entitled dog who behaved poorly in the home. Since being surrendered back to Paw Placement at 2 years old, Panda has come a long way. She's currently in a home with multiple dogs, lots of structure and calm, assertive leadership. Panda plays with dogs of all sizes and ages, she's gentle when necessary and can get rowdy with dogs who enjoy a rougher play style. She loves to chew bones and antlers, and rarely displays her resource guarding tendencies these days. She'll do best in a home that sets boundaries - no dogs on the couch, lie down while people are eating - and is willing to enforce those boundaries. She walks nicely on a leash, is mastering her obedience (sit, down, place, etc) and is crate and house trained. Panda has some stranger danger, has done well meeting people who initially ignore her, and has been ready to receive affection from them within 15 minutes or so. She's the same with new dogs and, though she loves dogs and thrives with them in a home with strong leadership, in the absence of that leadership, she'll need a home where she's the only pet. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 5:42 pm
