Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Panda was adopted at 2 months old by a loving family who unwittingly nurtured all her worst qualities. This resulted in an insecure and entitled dog who behaved poorly in the home. Since being surrendered back to Paw Placement at 2 years old, Panda has come a long way. She's currently in a home with multiple dogs, lots of structure and calm, assertive leadership. Panda plays with dogs of all sizes and ages, she's gentle when necessary and can get rowdy with dogs who enjoy a rougher play style. She loves to chew bones and antlers, and rarely displays her resource guarding tendencies these days. She'll do best in a home that sets boundaries - no dogs on the couch, lie down while people are eating - and is willing to enforce those boundaries. She walks nicely on a leash, is mastering her obedience (sit, down, place, etc) and is crate and house trained. Panda has some stranger danger, has done well meeting people who initially ignore her, and has been ready to receive affection from them within 15 minutes or so. She's the same with new dogs and, though she loves dogs and thrives with them in a home with strong leadership, in the absence of that leadership, she'll need a home where she's the only pet. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 6:22 pm

Story
PLAYFUL. ENERGETIC. SWEET. Eddy is lovable hunk of a dog that just loves to meet new people, go to new places and get his daily walk in! He was found as a stray and taken to a nearby veterinary hospital by a good Samaritan before coming into our care. This sweet and silly boy is very smart and trainable. Eddy has been hard at work learning basic commands, leash and door manners, and crate- and house-training. With his training coming along well, he is finally ready to find his forever home! Eddy will need to be the one and only king of your castle with no other dogs or small animals in the home. He loves people, but he is a larger boy who doesn’t always know his size, so older children or an adult-only home would be ideal. With his energy level, he would love a more active family who could give him a daily walk and continue his training. Eddy’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. To meet this loving, playful giant who is so excited to find his perfect forever home, apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt

Baxter is living proof that the best things come in big packages! This handsome 10-year-old Rottweiler has officially mastered the art of being the perfect senior gentleman. Think of him as your personal teddy bear who happens to weigh 90+ pounds. What Baxter Loves: - Cozy beds (the softer, the better!) - Car rides - Food (his #1 love language) - Quiet time with his favorite humans He's the type of dog who wants to be near his people but doesn't need constant attention. Think of him as the perfect balance between social butterfly and independent spirit - he'll happily join you for activities but is equally content playing with his toys while you work. Baxter would thrive as the only dog in the home or with a calm, senior fur-sibling that also enjoys a life of leisure. Ready to give this distinguished gentleman the loving retirement he deserves? Baxter comes fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, with a clean bill of health and a heart full of love to give. Apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt

Story
🐾 Meet Warren – The Best Boy You Haven’t Met Yet! 💙 -- Warren is available for direct adoption or foster-to-adopt -- Warren has been with the rescue for 2.5 years without anyone coming to meet him! :( Please consider meeting this great guy - he is also available for foster to adopt. This 80lb boy is Warren and he is still searching for his forever home! Warren is 3 years old, full of love and ENERGY!!! This working boy has so much energy, he needs a home that understands that along with physical workouts he needs a lot of mental stimulation. He loves to work obstacles, learn new games, hike, walk on a treadmill and of course play fetch! Warren gets along with most dogs, his favorite is young pups. He does have a prey drive, so no kitties or small pets in the home. Warren is super loving with HIS family. So much so where he can become a little protective, so he needs a strong active leader. Warren is living with a trainer so he knows all his basic commands, how to walk on a leash and off leash skills. In order to adopt Warren you have to be willing to learn!! His trainer will teach you all that he knows and how to use the Ecollar properly in lessons at zero cost to the adopter or rescue. We want to insure Warren's next home is his forever home and set up all involved for success. Our pups are always spay/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. Please reach out to us directly on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/thepetknot or via email at thepetknot@gmail.com with any questions! Want to meet me? Apply here: https://bit.ly/tpkapplication

Story
When we first saw Bonnie, a 5-6 year-old Boxer, she was lying quietly in her county shelter kennel. Her breathing was labored, but even through the struggle, she lifted her eyes to meet ours. In that look was a quiet desperation, a plea not to be forgotten. We rushed her to the ER, where she spent days fighting pneumonia—and winning. Today, Bonnie has blossomed into a joyful, affectionate companion. She makes us laugh with her goofy ways and charms everyone with her soulful, beautiful face. Like many aging pups, she does have arthritis that slows her down at times, but with medication she’s comfortable—and her zest for life shines through every single day. No senior dog should ever be left behind in a shelter. Bonnie has too much love, too much heart, to spend her final years without a family of her own. She deserves a home where she can rest her head knowing she is safe, wanted, and deeply loved. If your heart is open to giving Bonnie the forever home she so deserves, please fill out an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. She’s ready to give you all the love she’s been waiting to share.
