Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Panda was adopted at 2 months old by a loving family who unwittingly nurtured all her worst qualities. This resulted in an insecure and entitled dog who behaved poorly in the home. Since being surrendered back to Paw Placement at 2 years old, Panda has come a long way. She's currently in a home with multiple dogs, lots of structure and calm, assertive leadership. Panda plays with dogs of all sizes and ages, she's gentle when necessary and can get rowdy with dogs who enjoy a rougher play style. She loves to chew bones and antlers, and rarely displays her resource guarding tendencies these days. She'll do best in a home that sets boundaries - no dogs on the couch, lie down while people are eating - and is willing to enforce those boundaries. She walks nicely on a leash, is mastering her obedience (sit, down, place, etc) and is crate and house trained. Panda has some stranger danger, has done well meeting people who initially ignore her, and has been ready to receive affection from them within 15 minutes or so. She's the same with new dogs and, though she loves dogs and thrives with them in a home with strong leadership, in the absence of that leadership, she'll need a home where she's the only pet. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 23, 2024, 11:07 pm

Story
When we imagine the life of a senior dog; it would look like several cozy places to lay, the finest foods and meds to help support an aging body, daily walks, car rides to your favorite places and endless amounts of love; like a lot of love. Unfortunately for Baxter, at 9 years old, he found himself in an overcrowded shelter, on a concrete floor and with an injury and skin/coat issues. We were absolutely crushed when we learned that the only way for Baxter to walk out of the shelter alive is if he had a rescue to back him. Not only did our rescue back him; we promised him the life he has always deserved! Baxter has been an amazing dog to rehab. His wounds have healed, his skin and coat are soft and shiny, and he has put on healthy weight! We have learned that Baxter’s love language is food and for that reason feel that a home with no children or older children 16+ would be best. Baxter is very tall and strong and would prefer a family that is not intimidated by that because underneath that big body is one of the sweetest hearts you will ever meet. He really enjoys being around his people, rides great in the car, walks well on a leash and is a social butterfly. Baxter hasn’t spent too much time around other dogs in our care but from what we have seen, he would do well as the only dog or with other dogs that do not want to play or jump on him. He enjoys keeping to himself and playing with his favorite toys! We hope you are ready to meet this gentle giant and give him what he most deserves...A HOME! Baxter’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip and neuter. Apply today to meet his handsome man! https://lovethemallrescue.org/baxter

SWEET, Rottie Girl Seeks Home for the HolidaysAll dogs are located in southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of interstate 10. It is approximately 1 hour east of Tucson and 2 1/2 hours from Tempe. Please contact Carrie at fedwellfarm@yahoo.com or 602-316-8919 (no texts please) Sweets, whose official name she came to Fedwell Farm was changed to Sweets from CutieFly as she is the sweetest! Our volunteer suggested the name and Sweets just responded with a big grin. Sweets was picked up as a stray by the county animal control and when no one came to claim her, Fedwell Farm was asked if we would help her. We are so happy we did. She is a magnificent, sweet and wonderful girl. Sweets is approximately 5 years old. She weighs approximately 82 pounds. Sweets is very scared in new situations. She hangs back and waits for things to settle and then she is your best friend forever! Sweets walks well on a leash and just wants a family to love her. We are not 100 percent sure she is a Rottie mix, but we believe so. We specialize in herding dogs and hounds. Please come meet Sweets!!!!! She just wants a family to feel safe and loved. We would love to have Sweets in a home for the upcoming holidays! 602-316-8919 (no texts please)July 24, 2024, 9:08 am

Hello, my name is Charlie and I am a wonderful mix of Rottweiler and German Shepherd. My previous family said I am a gentle giant and get along well with kids, even the little ones. Right now I can come off as a bit timid, my HALO friends say that I may take time learning how to live with you. I like going on walks over running, slow and steady is my pace. I would need to meet all family members before making things official, and setting up a nice quiet place inside your home large enough for me is essential. Once we get to know each other I enjoy playing with rope and squeaky toys, don't worry thought, I'm a good boy and don't destroy them. If I sound like a dog you could vibe with, come visit me at HALO.

Story
Meet Rigby, a 2.5-year-old pup who exudes a super chill vibe but isn't shy to indulge in some playful moments. He's great with both small and large dogs and is diligently working on perfecting his potty training. Rigby isn't much of a barker and absolutely adores people. He's quite the snoozer, spending most of his day catching up on Z's. At 70 pounds, Rigby is just a happy-go-lucky, laid-back kind of guy, and he's incredibly trainable too.

Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
While these Pup Stars may not be able to carry much of a tune, they certainly still know how to steal the show! Good Samaritans took in mama Adele after they found her pregnant and wandering an industrial park. While awaiting her intake appointment at the county shelter, mama gave birth to 11 beautiful babies in the finder's home. After no owner was found, they were then transferred to the shelter where they had difficulty finding foster placement due to the pet overpopulation crisis we are facing here in Phoenix. One day, LTA's founder was at the shelter with her daughter while saving another dog who was scheduled for euthanasia. The shelter staff asked to show them this adorable family who was desperately in need of rescue. Our founder's daughter laid eyes on mama and those [then] three-week-old pups, and that was that. Two days later, all 12 precious lives were safe with us here at LTA. Like any pop star, these pups put on quite a show with their adorable antics. We could watch them playfully pounce and roll around on their little round bellies all day long. And bias aside, these Pup Stars have the perfect personalities -- all thanks to their mama Adele who is sweet as pie, dog-friendly and a total dream girl. The entire family plays nicely (with added puppy flair, of course) with people, children, and other dogs. These 12 precious lives would fit into any amazing home looking to help them become the best lifelong companions we know they can be. Each Pup Star's adoption fee includes their completed veterinary exams and pending microchips, spay/neuters and complete vaccine schedules. All dogs (mama included) are currently available on foster-to-adopts only until all medical has been completed (and covered) by us. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the application process is complete and you have been selected. The adoption can become official after each dog is altered. We do require that fosters crate and potty train, as well as work on basic commands. We know if they learn young, you will have a lifetime with a well-behaved dog! The Pupstars would love active homes with backyards (unless you are active and in a condo or apartment). Apply to meet this darling family. We just know you’ll love these little legends! https://lovethemallrescue.org/pupstars
