Story
Meet Henry Lee — Our Big-Hearted Dude Searching for a Softer Life Henry Lee is a 6–8-year-old, 100-pound gentle giant with the personality of a classic Rottweiler — loyal, devoted, and full of quiet charm. He'll need to be reminded he's a senior as he has tons of energy and is always on the go. What Henry Lee Needs • A foster OR adopter who understands the Rottie breed • An adult-only home (no kids due to his size + lack of history) • No other pets What Henry Lee LOVES • Being outside in the yard • Car rides • Squeaky toys and balls • Soaking up ALL the attention • A good nap in his crate (toss a treat in and he'll happily go right in!) This sweet senior deserves a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years with comfort, love, and dignity.March 7, 2026, 9:03 am

Story
REIGN was found tied to our fence on New Year's Eve. At the time, he seemed like a very insecure, tentative guy. After about a week of being with us, we received a note about his past. Apparently Reign was rescued from an abusive home by a good Samaritan. We feel that he was introduced too quickly and shown love too quickly and escalated to top dog, resulting in a couple of bites and A dogfight. We have been going slow with Reign and feel that he would do well a Rottweiler savvy, female only home. He is not a confident dog and needs to experience the things he missed out on in his first home – long gentle hikes would be ideal confidence builders.  Once he settles in, a basic obedience class would be a great beginning 'job'.  Reign Is learning a little bit each day and we are not looking to rush him into a home, we would like a family that is able to do several meet and greets, overnights and take it slow slowly. Reign has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tickborne diseases and has been microchipped. Adoption $350. Please fill out our dog adoption application prior to making an appointment to come out and meet Reign. March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

**GEORGE`S ADOPTION FEE IS FULLY SPONSORED**Hello, my name is: George Approx. DOB: 06/03/2015Sex/Breed: Neutered male RottweilerWeight: 81.2 lbsRescued from: Owner surrenderGeorge found his way to All 4 Paws after his family went through some big changes and felt they could no longer offer him the time and attention he deserved. Since the moment he arrived in our care he has been the sweetest boy! He loves to snuggle on the couch, enjoys nice long walks at the park, and is very attentive. This sweet senior boy is looking for a family with someone home often who is ready to open their heart to a senior dog. Despite his age, he has a lot of love left and deserves to have a human devoted to him in his golden years. George is house trained, walks beautifully on leash, and rides well in the car. While he is on a special diet due to some chronic tummy issues, he is a low maintenance guy with everything else. Who will open their heart and home to this handsome boy?? All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
ABOUT ZEUS Zeus came to HAP after his owner passed away. At 7 years old, adjusting to shelter life after living in a loving home has been challenging for him. However, once he realized we all think he’s the cutest guy, he started to warm up to the place! Zeus has become a bit of a celebrity around HAP. Our animal caretakers often take him on walks through the building, where he happily stops to greet all his human friends. In true bully breed fashion, he can be a little stubborn, he now insists on visiting his friends after his outdoor walks. What can we say? The love has become an essential part of his routine! When he’s not soaking up attention, Zeus is a laid-back, easygoing senior pup who enjoys chewing on bones and going for short, leisurely walks. He is friendly with new people, easily won over by treats, and very affectionate. He enjoys long car rides, showing off his tricks, and melting into his friends for love! Given his age and size, Zeus is a low-maintenance companion who spends most of his day lounging or napping! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Puppies require a significant amount of structure, routine, time, patience, and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a puppy is a critical time to establish boundaries and help your puppy understand what they can expect from you and what you expect from them. Remember, puppies aren’t born knowing how to live in a human’s world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. Story
ABOUT JAX Looking for a lovable senior? Jax is an 8-year-old golden boy looking for a fresh start! Jax came to HAP when his previous owners moved and could no longer keep him. Shortly after his arrival, our medical team determined Jax had a torn CCL, which required surgery to repair. Thankfully, Jax has already underwent surgery and is doing well. However, to help keep him comfortable and ensure a smooth recovery, Jax was placed in a loving foster home. Now that he's back at the shelter, he is having a hard time adjusting to life here. We know this sweet guy would thrive in a home, he truly just wants out of here. His foster mom shared what he was like in her home: "Jax is a sweet and loving boy with a heart full of affection and lots of personality! Jax is highly food-motivated, which makes him a quick learner and easy to train. He already knows how to sit, give a paw, and stay, and takes his medications without any trouble when given a little wet food on top. Jax is great with all humans, even if he reacts at first, he quickly overcomes his fear and turns into a big lovebug. He’s very tolerant of our kids, their noises, and all the activity that comes with a busy household, making him a perfect family companion. Curious and engaged, Jax loves to see what’s going on around him and enjoys being part of the action. This affectionate boy also loves his toys, goes into his crate without any issues at night, and is fully potty trained. Jax has been recovering from a leg surgery over the past couple of weeks, showing patience and resilience along the way. It’s clear he comes from a loving home and he’s ready to return that love tenfold to the right family." **Jax is currently in the final stages of recovery, seeking a foster-to-adopt home.
