Story
Ruby, the 5-year-old Rottweiler is an 87 lbs of love Ruby has been waiting for a home since May 2024. Day after day, she watches other dogs meet their families and drive away to their new lives. With her shiny fur and soulful eyes, she keeps hoping that one of these days will finally be hers. She came to us from a Lancaster breeding farm when she was no longer wanted. From the moment she arrived, Ruby understood she was safe. Her past may be written on her body, but her spirit is pure joy. She is a gentle, social sweetheart who lives for fresh air, soft snuggles, and time in the play yard. And when the zoomies hit, she is all tail-wags and tongue-flops—pure, unfiltered happiness. Ruby is ready to be the center of someone’s world. She does best as the only dog and would thrive in an adult-only home where she can exhale, settle in, and be her best self. Thanks to a wonderful friend, Ruby’s adoption fee is fully sponsored. Everything else is already in place - she is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and 4DX tested. All she needs now is you. If you have room in your heart and home, please don’t let her wait another month. Apply at http://www.phoenixanimalrescue.com. And if you can’t adopt, please share. Ruby’s family is out there - she’s been waiting long enough. Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA 19425 Kennel License #5152

Story
REIGN was found tied to our fence on New Year's Eve. At the time, he seemed like a very insecure, tentative guy. After about a week of being with us, we received a note about his past. Apparently Reign was rescued from an abusive home by a good Samaritan. We feel that he was introduced too quickly and shown love too quickly and escalated to top dog, resulting in a couple of bites and A dogfight. We have been going slow with Reign and feel that he would do well a Rottweiler savvy, female only home. He is not a confident dog and needs to experience the things he missed out on in his first home – long gentle hikes would be ideal confidence builders.  Once he settles in, a basic obedience class would be a great beginning 'job'.  Reign Is learning a little bit each day and we are not looking to rush him into a home, we would like a family that is able to do several meet and greets, overnights and take it slow slowly. Reign has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tickborne diseases and has been microchipped. Adoption $350. Please fill out our dog adoption application prior to making an appointment to come out and meet Reign. January 26, 2025, 9:23 am

Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Meet Henry Lee — Our Big-Hearted Dude Searching for a Softer Life   Henry Lee is a 6–8-year-old, 100-pound gentle giant with the personality of a classic Rottweiler — loyal, devoted, and full of quiet charm. He's one of our beloved old souls who just wants a calm home, a comfy place to rest, and someone to love him for who he is.   What Henry Lee Needs • A foster OR adopter who understands the Rottie breed • An adult-only home (no kids due to his size + lack of history) • No other pets   What Henry Lee LOVES • Being outside in the yard • Car rides • Squeaky toys and balls • Soaking up ALL the attention • A good nap in his crate (toss a treat in and he'll happily go right in!)   This sweet senior deserves a peaceful home where he can enjoy his golden years with comfort, love, and dignity. Story
Meet Marshal A Big, Handsome Softie Looking for the Right Home Marshal is a 6 1/2 YO, 90 lb male Bernedoodle. He is a loving, affectionate companion with a huge heart. He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest simply hanging out by your side. He is sweet, gentle with adults, and has an adorable, expressive face that wins everyone over. Marshal does, however, need a very specific type of home. He cannot be around children, especially small ones, and must be placed in an adults-only environment. He also has a low tolerance for frustration, and his anxiety makes him reactive. Because he is so attached to his people, he doesn’t like being left alone. He thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can feel secure. He would also do best with a fenced-in yard, where he can safely relax, explore, and burn off energy without added stress. With the right match, Marshal is an incredibly loyal, loving, and rewarding dog. He truly just wants to love and be loved.
