Django ACCT-A-239990 is a handsome, big-hearted guy who was found as a stray wandering the streets, and is now searching for a home that can provide the love, structure, and training he needs to thrive. While he may be a large dog, his personality is pure sweetness. Django loves toys and balls and happily enjoys playtime, but he’s just as content soaking up pets and attention from people. Eligible for adoption and rescue. He knows sit, he takes the treats nicely. He leans in for pets and butt rubs, and he allowed one of the adoption counselors to also pet him. I'm not sure if playing with the ball, my excited voice, or being confined to a small room added to his stress, and that caused him to be jumpy, and pant, but it wasn't unmanageable. He goes back into his kennel with no problem. Per staff 12/26/2025: very nervous around overhead touch. extremely food motivated allowed all handling w/ cream cheese on the door. Per staff 12/26/2025: sweet boy lovessss cookies took very nicely ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

Bluey was given to us, his trainers, because his owner felt he could not devote enough time to him. We had never planned on keeping him, we were going to rehome him. We had an adopter lined up but, this gentleman had another Rottweiler and he was elderly. He changed his mind at the last minute. Bluey grew up with two little girls. He is a most gentle giant. He has entropion. We cannot afford the surgery. We started an gofundme but were unsuccessful. All we want is for him to go to a good home.

Lily is a loving boxer/lab mix who just wants to be in a loving home and would be a great Christmas or holiday gift! Lily was rescued from an abusive situation, but is an amazing pup who just turned 1 in October. Unfortunately, I can no longer foster this super sweet, beautiful pup who just wants someone to love her. She is relatively low maintenance, but due to her prior abuse, she would do best in a stable environment where someone is typically home with her a majority of the time. She warms up most quickly with women and children, but will warm up to anyone who is kind to her. She started learning how to play with toys and is filled with so much love and has even started to become playful. She deserves a fur-ever home that can provide safety and stability for her so she can continue to thrive. Depending on when adoption may take place, I can do my best to supply as much food as possible and possibly transport. I just truly want her to find her home and family!
