River is a 7 month old Rottweiler Lab mix currently weighing 45 pounds. He is neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He knows all basic commands (sit, stay, come, fetch, lay down, etc.) He currently sleeps in his crate throughout the night and does very well. He does good on a leash. He loves car rides, the outdoors, soaking up sunshine, playing fetch, sleeping, and especially toys! He will try to carry 3 toys at once. He does not like anybody in his vicinity while he’s eating, doesn’t enjoy baths very much, and doesn’t like small dogs. He’s had one interaction with a cat and didn’t react, but unsure how he would be living with one. He would be best living with larger breeds, no small animals, children 10 years or older, and a fenced in yard to run freely. He is super adorable and a very smart puppy! Hi everybody this is Chop my family’s 5 year old Rottweiler and it breaks my heart to have to do this but my family is l looking to re-home him. We’ve had him for almost five years and he is a big goof ball that is friendly and loves people. The reason for the re-home is that we recently had two babies brought into the family and he isn’t aware of his size and is always wanting to play with the babies and we are concerned that it could end in an accident. We’ve tried to separate and train him to be gentle but it is hard when we only see the babies when we go to the beach on the weekends. He currently lives with another dog and if he did go to a home with another dog it would have to be older lower energy dog.
