I know my cute face is hard to resist, but here's the scoop: I'll need a lot of your time and attention as I grow up into the amazing adult dog I'm destined to be! I'm looking for a forever family that will help me with socialization, training (yes, that includes house training!), and plenty of exercise. And let's not forget the chewing and teething-I'm still learning what's okay (and what's definitely not okay) to put in my mouth. So, be ready for some puppy-proofing! Don't forget those vet visits! I'll need to stay up to date on my boosters and vaccines, which means a few trips to see my favorite vet in the first few months. But trust me, all that effort will be worth it when you experience the endless love, puppy kisses, and pure joy I'll bring into your life. So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! You will get an AMAZING and DEDICATED and EXTREMELY LOYAL DOG! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)
