Adoption Donation: $500 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Zelda and her sister Quintana were brought to our rescue partner in Texas when their Rottweiler mom's owner was surprised by a litter of puppies. They say everything is bigger in Texas, and that holds true with these girls! While her sister Quintana may charge into new adventures, Zelda prefers to take things slow—peeking out from behind a couch, watching first, and stepping forward only when she feels ready. Zelda is a soft, sensitive soul. Once she warms up, you’ll see her whole personality blossom: quiet tail wags, sweet little kisses, and a calm, cuddly side that will melt you. She loves gentle voices, patient people, and warm laps where she can feel secure. Toys are fun, too, and she loves all her pup friends she's making at Heartland! Because she came from an unplanned litter, Zelda is getting the supportive start she needs now. She’ll thrive in a home that can offer consistency, encouragement, and positive training to help build her confidence as she grows. Zelda’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.

My puppies have all been adopted (you’re welcome, world), and now it’s my turn for a forever home! &#226&#156&#168 When I’m not running off squirrels and bunnies like the neighborhood security guard &#239&#184&#143, I’m usually lounging around looking adorable. I’m fully potty trained — zero accidents, 100% good girl. &#226&#156&#133 I love walks, tennis balls, and kids (especially the ones with snacks). I might borrow a stuffed animal or two… purely for emotional support, of course. Cats? Hard pass. They look suspiciously like bunnies, and I take my duties seriously.
