Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application  Molly is a 3yo female Rottweiler mix who was surrendered when her owner died in Memphis. Friendly, well-socialized, happy temperament. Great with other dogs and would enjoy a dog buddy in her new home. Not cat tested. Has never lived with children, although she’d likely be fine with older dog-savvy children. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. High energy level outside, settles down quickly in the house. Low maintenance, good house manners. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Loves to be with her people. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 75 pounds.  Sweet rottie mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed. To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Contact us at reply@happydogrescue.org  visit us at http://www.happydogrescue.orgOctober 11, 2025, 7:35 am

Meet Marley! 🐾 Marley is a beautiful 5-year-old female Rottweiler, weighing about 55 pounds (and a bit more lately thanks to some extra treats!). She was purchased from a pet store as a puppy and has been a beloved companion ever since. This gentle girl has grown up around toddler children and absolutely loves people. He’s a mellow, charming soul who just wants to be by your side through every twist and turn life brings. He may not run across the country, but he will trot along faithfully right next to you — because to Bubba, being with his best friend is what life’s all about. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will stick by you like peas and carrots, Bubba Gump is ready to be your very best friend. *Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only. Story
Meet Snow, a vibrant and affectionate 4½-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing about 85–90 pounds. This sweet girl has a true zest for life and a heart full of love. She’s spayed, crate- and house-trained, and knows her basic commands. With her playful energy and gentle spirit, Snow is ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyal companionship to a home that matches her active lifestyle. Snow is currently thriving in her temporary foster home. She’s calm and well-behaved while her family works, not destructive at all, and perfectly content to relax. Though she’s a curious gal who loves to sniff around, she doesn’t counter-surf or beg—she’ll simply watch you cook like the polite lady she is. She’s very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and she’s already learned a few new tricks with treats. Snow enjoys her walks, loves a good cuddle session, and considers belly rubs a *non-negotiable necessity!* Snow does best in a structured environment and would thrive as the only pet in the household. Because of her size and energy, a home with teens or older would be ideal. She absolutely adores car rides and playtime with her favorite toys, and she’s looking for someone who can match her enthusiasm while providing patient, consistent guidance. Experience with breeds like Rottweilers or German Shepherds would be a great fit. Snow has excellent manners—she keeps her kennel spotless, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps peacefully in her crate overnight. She’s affectionate, eager to please, and so deserving of a loving home. We’d love to keep her in a home environment, as she’s doing wonderfully with her foster family and we’d hate to see her return to boarding at Best Friends Pet Hotel in Chestnut Ridge, NY. Could you be the one to open your home and heart to Snow? She’s ready for her second chance and will reward you with endless love and loyalty. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mocha (TX)—or the Mocha Man as his foster calls him—is thought to be a male Rottweiler/Pincher mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Mocha is 2 months old at the time of intake November 2023, so he would be about 2 as of August 2025. Mocha is good with people of all ages, other dogs, and cats. Mocha's foster reports he is great with everyone and dog and cat friendly! He is full of puppy energy and sweet kisses. He would do great in a home with a yard to run. Mocha is a fun-loving dog who would make you laugh with his silliness. He likes to play tug-of-war and is fond of his routine, getting up and going to bed early and waiting for permission to eat. His mortal enemy is cardboard boxes (he sometimes chews them). Can you please share your address and apply online to adopt Mocha (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org  RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 3, 2025, 1:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Theo: Your Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Hi, I’m Theo — a 3-year-old Rottweiler with soulful eyes, a goofy grin, and a heart that’s bigger than my paws (and trust me, those are huge). Life didn’t start out easy for me. When I was rescued, I was skin and bones — a shadow of the dog I was meant to be. But even though humans let me down, I never stopped believing in love. And now? I’m ready to find my forever person. Could it be you? I’m a certified snuggle bug. I’ll happily plop my giant self right into your lap like I’m a Chihuahua — personal space is overrated, right? I’m also a toy connoisseur. I carry my favorite squeaky wherever I go, like a toddler with a teddy bear. It’s my comfort, my joy, and sometimes my pillow. I’m a people magnet, too. I adore humans — big ones, small ones, loud ones, quiet ones. If you’ve got a heartbeat, I want to be near it. I get along great with other pups. And most of all, I’m loyal to the core. Once I know you’re mine, I’ll be your shadow — following you from room to room, offering silent support, and maybe a slobbery kiss or two. Despite my rough past, I’m not bitter — I’m better. I’ve got so much love to give, and I’m just waiting for someone to give me a chance to show it. I’m Theo, your big-hearted best friend, your cuddle companion, your toy-toting goofball. Adopt me, and you’ll never be alone again. I’ll be your shadow, your protector, and your biggest fan. Let’s start our happily-ever-after. Please put your application in here: www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org Please also be sure to reference his name as Theo (GA) in case of duplicate names within the rescue.
