  adoption donation : $699 weight 16 lbs Age: 5 months as of 9/15         Laverne and Shirley are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were found abandoned in a rural area of Mississippi. They are mixes, but appear to have some Rottweiler in them. They couldn’t be sweeter! They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap  The puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet.      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Our veterinary partner estimates that Mocha is 2 months old at the time of intake November 2023. Mocha is good with people of all ages and other dogs. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Percy (AL) is a male Rottweiler/Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Alabama. Our veterinary partner estimates that Percy is 6 years old at the time of intake in June 2023. Percy is good with people and other dogs. Percy is the sweetest boy ever, yet that didn't stop some monster from dumping Percy by tossing him out of a car. Fortunately for Percy, he was tossed right into our rescue and he has now received the medical care he required for a nasty wound behind his ear. Percy is friendly and happy, but because he thinks his purpose in life is to rid the world of cats, he will need a cat-free home. And to be super cautious, any doggy siblings must be bigger than a cat! The next car Percy gets into will be the first leg of his happy ever after. Meet Lita! She is a very special girl..... She has a great capacity for love. She is crate and leash trained. She was found in Georgia out by the Macon state prison by one of the guards. They took care of her and her son for a time. They were later surrender to us to further her training and help them find permanent homes. Her son has found his forever home, and now it is miss Litas turn. Although she resides in Georgia she would be happy to make the trip up north for her very own furever home. she would love some bigger kids to play with or maybe a big back yard to run in.
