Thankfully, he was rescued and has grown up surrounded by love and care. Sadly, Denver now urgently needs a new home. The family’s mom, who became Denver’s primary caregiver, has recently moved into a much smaller apartment and no longer has the strength or energy to keep up with his needs. Because of his size, she has struggled to find him a new home; she is heartbroken as he is so loved. She is dedicated to finding him a safe home. Denver is a 3 years old, Shep/Rottie male and weighs 87 lbs. He is a very playful energetic dog who loves his people. He has lived with young children but has no experience with other dogs or cats. As always, a dog introduction is needed. He is crate trained and knows his basis commands; he is very smart and eager to learn more. .
