Story
REIGN was found tied to our fence on New Year's Eve. At the time, he seemed like a very insecure, tentative guy. After about a week of being with us, we received a note about his past. Apparently Reign was rescued from an abusive home by a good Samaritan. We feel that he was introduced too quickly and shown love too quickly and escalated to top dog, resulting in a couple of bites and A dogfight. We have been going slow with Reign and feel that he would do well a Rottweiler savvy, female only home. He is not a confident dog and needs to experience the things he missed out on in his first home – long gentle hikes would be ideal confidence builders.  Once he settles in, a basic obedience class would be a great beginning 'job'.  Reign Is learning a little bit each day and we are not looking to rush him into a home, we would like a family that is able to do several meet and greets, overnights and take it slow slowly. Reign has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tickborne diseases and has been microchipped. Adoption $350. Please fill out our dog adoption application prior to making an appointment to come out and meet Reign. January 26, 2025, 9:23 am

Story
Bucky is an 8 month old purebred Rotty who is the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ever meet. - Enjoys being outside, going to the dog park, hiking, and fetching the ball - loves to play with his toys and easily keeps himself occupied -Loves playing with other dogs and is great around other people as well. (If anything he is sometimes shy) One thing Bucky is still working on is his separation anxiety. He does not tear things up but he sometimes barks and goes potty if left alone. I have him partially crate trained and he needs someone who can continue to work with him. He is a lover and extremely obedient, and responds very well to positive reinforcement. Our landlord will not allow me to keep him due to his insurance, and i need to find him a good home. Breaks my heart to give him up but I am unable to keep him here.

Story
hi Ruby! This sweet girl is a 3 1/2 year old Rottweiler. She was surrendered to our care from a Lancaster breeding farm as she was no longer wanted for breeding. She is 87 lbs. From the moment Ruby walked into our shelter, she knew she was safe. All she wanted was to cuddle and tried to be a lap dog. She is as sweet as pie and we love her very much. Her worn body is very telling of her story so far but we are determined to turn that around. Ruby was so happy to run around the playyard, cuddle, and just enjoy her freedom, fresh air and unlimited cuddles. She is uncomfortable with kids so she is looking for an adult only home. She would need to meet any resident dogs as she seems to be a bit selective with them. A home as one and only would be great. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and 4dx tested. **If you are serious about adoption, please start by filling out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $300** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA 19425 Kennel License #5152

Story
Ozzie is an 8 month old shepherd/rottweiller mix. He is a non-neutered male (only because had to wait until he was old enough) with all his vaccinations. He does great with children and other dogs. We are not sure about cats as he has not been around them. He was traumatized when we adopted him and our vet believes he was abused. He needs a fenced yard and someone who has the time to teach and love him. He has a sweet, playful, and protective nature. We are heartbroken that we cannot keep him. To ensure he goes to a good home, we are asking for $100 rehoming fee that will be donated to FARM fir assisting us. You may reach me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx .

Story
Meet Freya. She’s 10 months old, full of personality, and 100% Rottie. Freya is affectionate, goofy, and deeply loyal to her people. Like many young dogs, she’s still learning the ropes and figuring out how to share space, attention, and resources. She’s shown some mild resource guarding, but nothing extreme—and she’s already making progress with the right structure and consistency. She’s smart and eager to connect. What she needs now is someone who understands the breed, who can continue gently reinforcing boundaries, and who’s willing to keep helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. We’re looking for a foster or adopter who: ✅ Has experience with large breeds ✅ Can provide structure, routine, and loving leadership ✅ Will continue to support her as she builds confidence and trust Freya is still just a pup—playful, bright, and ready for someone to believe in her. She doesn’t need perfection. She just needs a person who’s willing to show her the way. Freya is an absolute lover of people. She lights up around her humans and craves connection. Whether it’s following you from room to room, sitting at your feet with those classic Rottie eyes, or soaking up every bit of affection—Freya wants to be with you.
