Story
Meet Jasmine: Jasmine is ready for her whole new world! This sweet 4 year old Rottweiler mix is a ball of love with her trusted humans. Jasmine takes some time to warm up to new people but once she knows you are a trusted person, she will be your best friend. She is dog friendly with a slow introduction. Jasmine would do best in a home with older (13+) children and a fence. If this sweet girl is ready for her new world in your home, apply here: ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below: Dog/Puppy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Dog Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat 4. Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My name is Sparky and I am five years young! I am a Rottie/Min Pin mix. Yep! That's real! I am fixed and up to date on vaccines and weigh around 40 pounds. I found myself at the rescue when my family had to move and sadly, I couldn't go along. I am full of energy and I am looking for an active family that has previous dog experience as I need structure and exercise. I really like being around my people and can get very anxious when left alone. I would need need a family that is home often and can help me with my anxiety. I do get very excited when I know that the volunteers are going to take me for a walk, jumping up and down in anticipation. Strangers and small children make me a bit nervous, but once I get to know you, I will do anything to please! Children 12 and older would be best for me. I will sit and take treats nicely and I will give you my paw if you ask. Not to brag, but I am a very smart guy. I would do best in a home without cats. I could get along with another very mellow dog! Of course I would need to meet them along with the rest of the family first. Sparky is currently in a foster home where he is learning he doesn't need to be anxious when left alone. If you want to be Sparky's person, please visit our website, www.crcpa.org, and complete an application!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Jaida (formerly Potter) joined the HOPE Program after she and her family worked REALLY hard to help her adjust to a new baby in the house. Unfortunately, she prefers the companionship of older kids (10 years and over) to that of an infant or toddler. Jaida has a HIGH PREY DRIVE and will give chase to small critters, so she shouldn’t live with cats, birds, guinea pigs, etc. The smaller and squeakier, the more interested Jaida gets! She and her family put in a lot of time and work, so she’s already a very well behaved girl. She loves going for walks and hikes, but prefers not to be bombarded by off leash dogs. After all, she’s a well mannered gal and expects her friends to be the same! Jaida isn’t a fan of the vet’s office or the groomers, so her family trained her to be comfortable in a muzzle, and she wears it like a badge of honor! She knows a lot of commands, so she’s definitely going to keep her HOPE handler on his toes as they work on some advanced obedience skills. She also walks nicely on the leash, is food motivated (which helps with training), and isn’t generally nervous or anxious. She was very well behaved when meeting the HOPE Trainer for the first time and sat politely for petting and treats. She even showed off with a few tricks! To follow along with Jaida's progress in the HOPE program, follow this link: https://www.hopedogs.org/dogs/potter/ If you are interested in adopting Jaida, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org/adopt.

Story
Wally is the last of the "Walmart Litter" looking for his forever home. Believe it or not, these pups were being given away for free in a cardboard box in a Walmart parking lot down south earlier this year. Fortunately TRU stepped in! This guy is dog, cat, and kid friendly. In fact we insist he goes to a home with another dog, as he just loooooves the dogs he lives with now. We want to see him with an active family. He is crate trained and house trained, the sweetest boy, just the whole package! Can you resist those ears?!

These pups are in Lancaster, Pennsylvania too!
