Ruby: Queen of Cuddles & Zoomie Royalty Chester Springs, PA | 4.5 y/o Rottweiler | 87 lbs of Love Hi Ruby! This gorgeous girl has been waiting for her forever home since May 2024, making her one of our longest residents—and one of our most adored. A total volunteer favorite, Ruby has perfected the art of cuddling and is convinced she’s a lap dog (we don’t have the heart to tell her otherwise ). She came to us from a Lancaster breeding farm where she was no longer wanted, but from the moment she arrived, Ruby knew she was safe. Her past may be written on her body, but her spirit is full of joy. She’s a happy, social lady who LOVES the play yard, fresh air, and snuggles galore. And her zoomies? Legendary. We’re talking full-speed, tail-wagging, tongue-flopping joy. Ruby is looking for a home where she can be your one and only dog, and she’d prefer an adult-only household where she can relax and be her best self. She comes: ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ 4DX tested Ready to give Ruby the life she’s been dreaming of? Apply at http://www.phoenixanimalrescue.com We know her perfect match is out there somewhere. Please share to help Ruby find the loving home she deserves — she’s been waiting long enough. Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA 19425 Kennel License #5152

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hi my name is Sierra and I am Tanks girl.  We didn't live a very good life until now but the Rescue Ranch ladies say that is all behind us and we are going to live in the Pooch Palace that sound pretty "swanky" I may just turn into Cinderella!  I already have my prince.  Tank and I are ready to see what its like to be taken care of and loved.  It sounds amazing!!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Story
REIGN was found tied to our fence on New Year's Eve. At the time, he seemed like a very insecure, tentative guy. After about a week of being with us, we received a note about his past. Apparently Reign was rescued from an abusive home by a good Samaritan. We feel that he was introduced too quickly and shown love too quickly and escalated to top dog, resulting in a couple of bites and A dogfight. We have been going slow with Reign and feel that he would do well a Rottweiler savvy, female only home. He is not a confident dog and needs to experience the things he missed out on in his first home – long gentle hikes would be ideal confidence builders.  Once he settles in, a basic obedience class would be a great beginning 'job'.  Reign Is learning a little bit each day and we are not looking to rush him into a home, we would like a family that is able to do several meet and greets, overnights and take it slow slowly. Reign has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm and tickborne diseases and has been microchipped. Adoption $350. Please fill out our dog adoption application prior to making an appointment to come out and meet Reign. January 26, 2025, 9:23 am

River is a great dog, loves attention, loves to run and play. River does however suffer from anxiety and does not enjoy being crated. Would be best with a family that has no children but other pets would be fine.
