Story
Lexie came to us as a street mom, doing everything she could to care for her pups — and now it’s finally her turn. Smart, fun, and impossibly sweet, this adaptable girl is ready to trade the pavement for a couch and the chaos of survival for the quiet joy of belonging. Lexie deserves a soft place to land, and she’s more than ready to give back every bit of love you offer her. Please visit our site at https://www.jennisrescueranch.org/adopt for more information on how to adopt. Story
Meet Yoda! 🐾💛 Yoda is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix with a heart every bit as big as his paws. While his past may not have been easy, this sweet boy has proven to be incredibly resilient, loving, and ready to find a family who will show him the kindness he deserves. His foster describes him as an absolute sweetheart who loves being around his people. Whether he's hanging out on the couch, going for a ride in the car, enjoying a walk, or simply soaking up attention, Yoda is happiest when he's with his humans. He’s affectionate, loyal, and has a gentle nature that makes him easy to fall in love with. Yoda has done well with other dogs in foster care. He enjoys playing with his canine companions and has been friendly with both larger and smaller dogs. He has also met cats and was more interested in trying to play than causing any trouble. Even more impressive, Yoda did wonderfully with his foster's 10-year-old autistic child, showing just how patient and gentle he can be. This handsome guy enjoys treats, toys, bones, running around the yard, and relaxing with his favorite people. He already knows "sit" and has good house manners overall. He's also comfortable spending time in his kennel and does well when left alone. His foster shared that Yoda has a wonderful appetite, settles in well, and has been an all-around great houseguest. He’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family and reminds you every day how special second chances can be. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves people, enjoys adventures, and still believes in the goodness of humans despite his past, Yoda may be your perfect match. 🐶✨

Story
Delta is a beautiful ~4-year-old Rottweiler who should be closer to 90 lbs - but today she’s just 76 lbs, clearly underweight and recovering from a life that asked far too much of her. She came to us as a stray, but her condition tells a clearer story. We suspect she was used for breeding and then discarded. Despite that, Delta remains incredibly gentle - soft in a way that feels intentional, not broken. She is sweet, quiet, and deeply sensitive. She doesn’t demand attention - she observes, processes, and slowly leans in when she feels safe. It’s subtle, but it’s there. Right now, the world still feels overwhelming. Loud noises startle her, and sudden movement can make her pause. But in a calm, steady environment, she is already beginning to settle. You can see her trying. Nova is not difficult - she’s undernourished, overstimulated, and learning what safety feels like. What Delta needs: A foster or forever home with a calm, low-traffic environment A patient, grounded person who won’t rush her Consistency, structure, and space to decompress Someone who understands that trust is built over time What you’ll get in return: A gentle, loyal companion A dog who will form a deep, meaningful bond The opportunity to watch a dog regain both strength and confidence She will gain weight. She will gain confidence. What matters now is that she gains a safe place to land. Nova is ready—for a foster or her forever home.June 2, 2026, 7:53 pm
