Story
Meet Mandy! This is Mandy! If you ever wanted to help a Twilight Dog or share a Twilight Dog story this is the one I need your help with. Reintroducing Mandy the sweetest most gentle rottie you will ever meet. The little dog is her buddy Frankie. These are well-trained affectionate house dogs. Mandy is a youngster who had a couple of seizers back in April. One resulted in her losing some vision. She can see shadows and shapes, but her vision was impacted. She has not had a seizure since April and her vision seems to have improved a bit since then. She is housebroken, heartworm negative, and great with kids and dogs as long as they are gentle with her. She is never aggressive, but due to her low vision, she is afraid of large rambunctious dogs. Frankie has helped her with her confidence and in a perfect world we would love them to stay together. Their phenomenal fosters cannot keep them after September 1st due to an approaching surgery and because they own a young busy GSD. Please share their story far and wide and help me find them a home. We will separate if need be but would love to keep them together.

Story
Kasper (f/k/a Kenji) was found on the side of the road, injured and very malnourished.  He is a sweet boy, young and deserves a second chance.  He is fine with other medium to large dogs when properly introduced.  No small dogs or cats. He knows sit, lay, stay, and more!  He's treat motivated so he's a super fast learner when he sees treats.  He's house-trained and has great house manners (no chewing on things!).  He's a very sweet boy and true to his breed - very loyal. Because kiddos are too fast and unpredictable for him, he would do best in a home without kiddos.  Anyone who is familiar with the breed knows that structures, rules and safety are the recipe for the best family member ever!  Kasper just needs a chance to shine and someone who will be patient and understand he is a commitment (just as a family member should be).      If you are interested in fostering or adopting this great boy, please fill out the app on our website at www.scoutshonor.org right away.September 25, 2023, 1:11 am

Story
Meet Livia. But if you want to be formal with her, her full name is Livia Drusilla.  Sweet Livia was brought in to BARC with a horrible injury to her front leg. Her foot was missing, with just an infected stump left. We don't know how she lost her foot but it looked very painful. Sadly, due to the missing foot and infection issue, we had to amputate her entire leg. But don't feel too bad for her, she doesn't seem to be bothered in the least and gets around great. She even can get stuff off the kitchen counter if you aren't looking.    She is a very sweet dog that craves attention. She always wants to be near you or un you lap to be petted. She gets along with other dogs, as long as you introduce her properly, but does not like cats. She is a fairly clean dog and does not chew up things, except toys, and can go all day without pottying. She is about 3 years old, 60 pounds and has cute wavy hair. Her cutest feature is one long curly patch of hair on top of her head that sticks up like Alfalfa.    Won't you consider giving this sweet girl a second chance at life. We promise she won't disappoint.   September 25, 2023, 1:11 am
