FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Vi! She is a 4-year-old, 112 LB Rottweiler who is looking for her forever home! Vi is a very sweet girl who came to us overweight, so we are looking for a foster or adopter that can provide her a healthy lifestyle with a good amount of daily exercise to help her reach an ideal weight. She is a total sweetheart and lover and will make a great companion! Vi walks well on leash but is strong if she decides to pull towards something. She has done great with other dogs in our care and wouldn’t mind having another dog in the home with her. She also could do fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization. Let’s get this loving girl into a home! Vi is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Calling all Rottie and senior dog lovers!!! Zelda has been enjoying her foster home for a few months now but will be losing her fosters soon and would love to find her forever home! She is a 7.5-year-old, 80lb Rottweiler, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home. Zelda is a sweet girl who would love nothing more than being by your side all day. She is incredibly polite, and as long as she has a cozy place to rest, she’s content. Zelda does wonderfully in a kennel and loves her naps through the day. She’s good on a leash, though she doesn’t always want other dogs coming up to say hello. Zelda does have some issues with resource guarding and would probably prefer being an only dog or having an experienced owner. Without resources as an issue, she loves having other dogs around and playing a good game of chase! She loves her treats but is still learning to take them gently from hands, so fingers beware! Zelda does super well in the car and would be a great driving buddy to have. She’s still getting the hang of “fetch” but loves chasing balls around the yard. Zelda does okay on stairs, but more than a few could be an issue as she can be quite clumsy. Zelda is a total sweetheart who wants to have her person that she can follow from room to room and share her love with. And if you’re lucky, once she feels comfortable with you, you might be rewarded with some hoppy little tippy taps when she’s excited to see you. She has also worked on mastering house training and recall! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Apollo is an adorable and sweet pup who is about to be 7 months old. He's learning how to sit, and already knows how to fetch! He is friendly and loves everyone. Great with people, dogs, and we predict cats too if he grows up with one. This pup and siblings were abandoned on a rural road outside Austin, Texas, likely left in a box found nearby. In freezing, wet conditions, they were at serious risk, especially Apollo, who was found in the middle of the road. Two good Samaritans rescued the litter, with one taking two puppies and the other taking three. While we couldn’t secure the first two, we were able to bring Apollo, Star, and Peppermint into rescue care. Thanks to Apollo’s presence in the road, the entire litter was noticed—ultimately saving their lives. They will soon have all their shots and be spayed/neutered and ready to go! We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie and you're in driving distance to Grimbsy ON, Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, or Hartford, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: adoption fee is in US dollars. Due to the pups young age, you'll have to pick up the pup in the US.) There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

For more pics and vids follow us on: YouTube @thehausofdogs TikTok @thehausofdogsofficial Facebook or Instagram @thehausofdogs At just 3 months old, Parker is the final sibling from his litter still waiting for his forever home after being dumped in Eastern WA. While his brothers and sisters have all found families, Parker’s still patiently hoping for his turn — and trust us, he’s worth the wait. Parker is everything we love about puppies: playful, curious, affectionate, and full of joy. He loves snuggles, plays beautifully with other dogs, and brings a sweet, outgoing energy wherever he goes. He’s crate trained, sleeps through the night like a champ, and is already great in the car. If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion with a heart full of puppy sweetness, Parker is ready to make your life a whole lot brighter. Let’s find this special boy the home he deserves.

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Alfalfa has so many meanings. To horse people alfalfa is a rich and green leafy food :) To dog people, Alfalfa, means ME!!! I have not lead the most "leafy" life though. I was recently saved from an extreme hoarding situation. And I am SO grateful to the ladies who have taken over a year to save 65 of the 87 dogs I lived with AND are still working to get more out! I am a little shy when u first meet me, but 5 minutes and I am yours! Look onto my chocolate dreamy eyes, and get that application in! I am waiting..... Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 ( includes transport to your area)

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet the super sweet girl, Nova! She is a 1-year-old, 39 LB Boxer who came to us as an owner surrender after her owner could no longer care for her. Nova is loving, charming, and very sweet with her people. She is treat motivated which is great for training, and can focus when you need her to! Nova would love a forever home that will take her on daily walks and adventures as she loves to explore and be with her person. Nova came to us very underweight, so we are working on bringing her up to a healthier size and are looking for an adopter that can help continue her journey of getting back to health. She can be an absolute goofball and fun to watch, so there will never be a dull moment with her! She has also done well with other dogs in our care and wouldn’t mind having another canine companion in the home, or she could be fine as an only dog if she had continued socialization. Nova is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

IMMEDIATE FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ Greta struggles in a kennel environment and due to kennel stress, has a hard time keeping weight on. She would thrive in a foster or forever home where she gets lots of love, daily routine and the calmness a home can bring! Greta is a 3-year-old, Doberman Pinscher who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is very sweet, loving, and treat motivated girl. Greta came to us extremely underweight, and has had a hard time getting up to her ideal weight in the kennel environment, so she will require a home that is dedicated to bringing her back to health and helping her thrive! Greta would do well in a home that can work on leash training, but would love a forever home that takes her on daily walks and has a yard for her to explore and play. Greta knows some basic obedience already, but of course would love to continue learning more! She would do best as an only dog in a home or with a laidback male around her size, no cats or small dogs. Greta is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.
