Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
HISTORY: Rudy was picked up by our police Dept in Eastern Washington. His story goes...his owners dropped him off with a friend and never came back. The owners phones have been contacted and are no longer in service. He is chipped though, so Red Waggin' Rescue still has him on hold, while we investigate any numbers that can be found. Rudy really needs a foster home. He is currently in a cold cage in our over flow kennel. He is gaining weight and gets very so sad when we leave after a visit. He really needs a foster home where he can get better exercise and more one on one attention. Rudy is very friendly and needs walks, but can get tired quickly. We almost wonder if he has some bulldog in him a well as rottie. Either way it's clear he has been owned before and would do well in a house. Please email us if you could help foster him while he is on hold and we figure things out. DOG ADOPTION FEE INCULDES: All basic vaccines including rabies, flea/tick treatment, spay/neuter and microchip! If you're interested in ADOPTING or FOSTERING, please go to our Website and Click on the BIG RED BUTTON that says…DOG Adoption/Foster Application.https://www.redwagginrescue.org/adoptPlease don’t hesitate to contact us at ConnellPetRescue@gmail.com, if you have any questions or would like more information. ##1346034##

Story
Hi, my name is Big Momma and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since May 10, 2023. I can be a bit of an introverted pup. I like having my own space at times and prefer quiet time with my person or people compared to big social gatherings. I have a lot of love to give, you just have to give me a little bit of time to show it all to you!

Lex is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt - thanks!Lex is a sweet, adorable girl who can't wait to meet her forever family!Adopting a puppy is great fun, but puppies require a LOT of dedicated time for training and socialization, including exposure to many different situations. This means puppy classes, lots of daily exercise, playtime, attention, and ongoing training will be essential as this dog will be energetic and playful for many years to come. Puppies can't be left unattended for more than a couple of hours at a stretch in the first several months. A household or guardian who is ready to take on the challenges of housetraining, grooming, and making sure their new family member becomes a well-adjusted canine citizen is necessary. Please do some research on bringing up puppies before submitting an application for adoption. HOW TO ADOPT - Please fill out a Dog Adoption Application, available at http://www.seattle.gov/animalshelter/forms.htm and email it to the Seattle Animal Shelter Foster Dog Program at adoptionreview@gmail.com.IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. If you have questions about this dog that have not been answered above, please contact us at adoptionreview@gmail.com. If you would like to arrange to meet this dog, you must submit an adoption application. Thank you!

Story
Hannah Bea is the happiest girl, despite the fact she’s been in shelters and boarding for almost a year now!! This wonderful girl deserves a loving home of her own. Even though she has lived in these types of environments for so long, Hannah is always such a friendly girl. She is wonderful with every person she meets and she holds no grudges that she doesn’t have her own people. She will happily go on walks and give affection to anyone that will spend time with her. She loves to go on car rides whenever she can. And even though she’s sometimes a little stiff, she eagerly goes hiking, too. She can be an exuberant girl when she meets new people, with her wiggly little bob-tail and leaning in for affection. You’d never know she is 8-9yrs old! She is a very social, 73lb girl that appears to be a boxer / shepherd maybe lab mix. Whatever her breed, she really is an exceptional girl that deserves a loving family and soft bed of her own. She gets along great with all other dogs and loves to have play dates, but she doesn’t need a playmate in the home. She is not a fan of the kitties though, so no cats, please. Even though she’s a bit of an older gal, she is healthy as can be. She would love to be included on lots of outdoor activities. Hanging out in a large fenced yard of her own would be wonderful, too. She adores children but because she is powerful and can be very wiggly, kids must be over 10yrs old.  If you would like to meet this wonderful girl waiting for her forever home please email infor@k9rr.org and include your phone number.May 29, 2023, 3:33 pm
