HISTORY: Rudy was picked up by the Connell Police Department in Eastern Washington. His story goes...his owners dropped him off with a friend and never came back. The owners phones have been contacted and are no longer in service. We believe he is a Rottie and maybe part bulldog... Rudy would love to be fostered or adopted into a home, because he clearly came from a home previously. He is a sweetheart of a dog that will give love and just wants to be loved back. He likes walk, but often gets tired quickly due to not be exercised regularly! He really needs a foster or adoptive home where he can get better exercise and more one on one attention. Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.
