Story
Hi! My name is Dugan and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 2/9/26. I weigh 74lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home. I`m a pretty easgy going fellow, so I prefer to have a house that I can wander around in and have the couch and bed to share with my people!A previous owner informed the staff that I am a known `trash panda`. If a trash can is out or food is on the counter I will claim it as my own. Pizza is my favorite thing to steal from humans. Delicious! You should also know I`m allergic to chicken, which causes my skin to break out and get real itchy! My caretakers have been following a very simple routine (not feeding me chicken, and occassionally giving me baths) to help with my allergies. I am doing amazing and have already regrown most of my fur! I have lived in a house with a small, calm dog and did well with him. I would do best with a SLOW introduction to resident pets. It would be best to bring the whole family to meet me (children and/or dog) so that I can meet everyone on a neutral location.I am a member of RASKC`s playgroup pals! Ask staff if you would like to know which dogs I have met and how I interact with other dogs! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
Knight is a loving and caring companion who brings comfort just by being near you . He has a protective nature that makes you feel safe, yet he is still full of playful energy and excitement. Whether he is chasing a toy or trotting beside you on a walk, he shows how much he enjoys spending time with you. At three years old, he has grown into a loyal friend with a gentle heart. I adopted him from my friend when he was only four months old.

Story
We adopted Bheema from a shelter and have had him for three months. He was brought to the shelter abandoned and tremendously underweight. The vet thinks he is about a year old. Bheema is a sweet, loyal, dog with lots of young puppy energy. He is a quick learner and is house-trained and can sit, stay and come and leave it/release. I would say he does live up to the "velcro dog" association of this breed. We are rehoming Bheema because he has high anxiety, including separation anxiety, and is very protective of our home, which makes it hard to have people over because he barks/is anxious. In talking to a Rottweiler specialists these are all trainable, but it will take time and we feel that we do not have the time/capacity. Seeking someone with expertise with this breed and (nonviolent) dog training background. He will make someone very happy with the right training and owners with a resonant lifestyle to have this type of dog. He needs lots of exercise and stimulation.

Story
Welcome Rocky to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Rottweiler or Shepherd/Bulldog is our best guess on breed. He has a beautiful grey coat that is shorter and he is athletic and friendly. He weighs about 50 pounds and is a good weight and is about 1.5 years old. He has new adult teeth that are still nice and clean. He would be perfect for a runner, walker, jogger, hiker or athletic and outdoorsy family. He loves all people so you won’t have any trouble with him meeting new people. He would love to join a family on all their adventures. He is good in his kennel and goes potty in his outdoor space. He hasn’t been reactive when we had him on leash. He is a head turner for sure. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home in a couple of weeks. He is outgoing and would be fine with a family that has children. We would like children to be 8 or older. Rocky is not a big shedding dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Salem to CCPAL Rescue. Salem is a 4-year old Rottie/Boxer mix that weighs about 65 pounds. She is beautiful gun metal grey with a brownish tint. She bonds very deeply like the Rottie to her person. She gets along with other dogs but she wants to be the only one for her particular person. She is on the quiet side as far as barking goes. She is lower on the shedding scale and has a nice soft coat. She has an adorable underbite. I think she would like to be a home body type dog and be around her person a lot. She would love her human to work from home or only work some days. She kennels up just by asking her to kennel up. She is very smart and takes direction well. She is a little shy in new settings and not all that interested in meeting new people. If you like the Rottie personality or the Dachshund personality you will like this dog. It is enjoyable to have a dog that is super loyal and not everybody’s dog. She would be great for an older single person or older couple that want a nice companion around the house. She would also be good for someone that is younger but more of a homebody time as well. She is super beautiful and is a head turner in looks. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200.
