Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Bailey - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm Bailey and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am a sweet little girl looking for my furever family! I would love to meet you and show you my new learned skill: sitting on command! I am very playful, and chewing on my toys is one of my favorite things to do. I like to wrestle and growl while playing tug of war, and will do just about anything for a treat! Along with my sister, I grew up with 7 brothers, and learned pretty quick how to hold my ground. I am an independent girl, but also love to play with others. If you’re looking for an awesome addition to your family, I might just be the pup for you! I'm about 4 months old and come in at around 19lbs. I should be a great size when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm gonna be that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am a social lil gal that loves her people both tall and small but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I has got a beautiful tri color coat and such an expressive face you'll have a hard time telling me 'no' even when getting into puppy shenanigans!! I has got a sweet nature that does love to run around and play with all the other foster pups here. I do really well playing with the other pups but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, but at my young age and with proper introductions I should be fine with them too! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. So, if you think I could be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Star is an adorable and sweet pup who is about to be 3 months old. She is friendly and loves everyone. Great with people, dogs, and we predict cats too if she grows up with one. This pup and siblings were abandoned on a rural road outside Austin, Texas, likely left in a box found nearby. In freezing, wet conditions, they were at serious risk, especially Apollo, who was found in the middle of the road. Two good Samaritans rescued the litter, with one taking two puppies and the other taking three. While we couldn’t secure the first two, we were able to bring Apollo, Star, and Peppermint into rescue care. Thanks to Apollo’s presence in the road, the entire litter was noticed—ultimately saving their lives. They will soon have all their shots and be spayed/neutered and ready to go! We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie and you're in driving distance to Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, or Hartford, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: adoption fee is in US dollars. Due to the pups young age, you'll have to pick up the pup in the US.) There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Toby is a purebred German Rottweiler, and is 135 lbs of extremely excited energy, and a goofy personality. He bonds very deeply with those in his life, and is very excited to play with all animals. He loves to bark at people walking by, at dogs walking by, at shadows that look like they might be walking by. Toby is 6 years old, (born on July 4th), and has been a great dog overall. We're looking for a family with other dogs or time to spend with Toby, as when his people aren't around, he will mark indoors. He will go outdoors, but when he's lonely or alone, he will pee on clothing or areas where people spend time. Overall, he's a great dog with lots of personality, who loves to play tug and fetch and get scratches. He reluctantly takes baths.

Story
Animal Profile: Meet Bingo – A Loyal, Loving, and Quirky Doberman Looking for His Perfect Match! Bingo is a handsome blue male Doberman with a big heart, a goofy personality, and a strong attachment to his people. He’s been through multiple homes but continues to be a resilient and affectionate dog who just needs the right environment to thrive, so please read his profile carefully. He has been with the rescue for over two years now, and after multiple failed adoptions we have taken the time to fully understand the kind of home Bingo needs. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a ride or die companion who will keep you on your toes, Bingo might be the one for you! Things To Love About Bingo &#226&#156&#148 Sweet & Affectionate – Loves to snuggle, lean into his humans, and never lets a free hand go to waste. &#226&#156&#148 Great with People – Friendly with adults and children (has spent the majority of his foster time with small children). &#226&#156&#148 Dog Social (With Management) – Loves playing with other dogs but does best as the only pet in the home. &#226&#156&#148 House Trained – Fully potty trained, non-destructive once settled, and walks well on a leash. &#226&#156&#148 Smart & Trainable – Quick learner, e- collar trained but will do just about anything for a treat, and he has great recall! &#226&#156&#148 Active but Not High-Energy – Enjoys a good play session or walk but equally enjoys couch life. &#226&#156&#148 Confident Watchdog – Protective of his home and people but is not aggressive. Bingo’s Needs & Challenges Best as an Only Pet – While he enjoys playing with dogs, he struggles with resource guarding at home (only with dogs). He has spent the last seven months living with two resident dogs with strict management but is happiest as the only pet. An experienced owner who understands dog body language is essential. Highly Food Motivated (and Opportunistic!) – Bingo is a world-class counter surfer and has no shame in stealing food if given the chance. He requires firm boundaries around food. Slow Transitions Required – Bingo has a history of separation anxiety when adjusting to a new home. While he can now be left alone for long periods without issues, his new family must allow him 3-4 weeks to adjust. Not Crate-Tolerant – Bingo has significant crate-related stress. While he can be crated in an Impact Crate with a bark collar for short periods, he does best in a home where crating isn’t necessary long- term. Protective Instincts – True to his breed, Bingo is wary of strangers near his home and will bark, making him an excellent deterrent. However, he warms up quickly with proper introductions. Not Suitable for Apartments – Due to his loud bark and need for space, he requires a home with no shared walls. No Small Animals – He has a strong prey drive and cannot live with cats, chickens, or small pets. Experienced Handler Preferred – Bingo benefits from an adopter who understands dog behavior, particularly around body language and resource management. He thrives with clear leadership and structure. Foster Home Insights Bingo has been with our family for 7 months now. He is a sweet, playful and sometimes naughty guy, who loves cuddling up on the couch, romping around the yard, and doing just about anything for a treat. Before coming to us, he had 4 failed adoptions, some not lasting more than 72 hours. Bingo struggled with severe separation anxiety in his previous homes, often leading to destructive behavior. However, here he has adjusted well. He is rarely crated and has shown no destruction when left alone. I work from home so we were able to work up to long absences gradually, and now he can be left for 8+ hours when needed. His adopter will need to be patient during his adjustment period to set him up for success. Bingo currently lives with two other dogs (one male, one female). While he loves playing with other dogs, resource guarding has been a challenge when sharing a living space. He is prone to quick, intense reactions around food and valued items, making management essential. While he has improved significantly, it continues to be a source of conflict between the dogs. This only applies to other dogs, and he has never displayed any concern or aggressive behavior towards people, big or small, near food or toys. However, there have been times when Bingo gets to be an only dog while my husband takes the others, and boy is life easier. It is such a joy to see him thrive - he loves toys and gets to play with them in the house, happily chews a bone while I’m working or away, gets lots of love, etc. and honestly I think this is the best path forward for him. He is fabulous on a leash 95% of the time but requires a confident handler or can get a bit unruly around things he wants to get to. He has improved exponentially in new places, I’ve taken him to jobsites, busy public places like Alki, and many pet friendly stores, he has been great. It can be a little overwhelming for him at time, and he needs good leadership, but I think with more positive experiences and exposure, he could become a really well balanced dog. The Bottom Line I adore Bingo. He is so deserving of finding his “person” and if I didn’t have the other two I would keep him in a heartbeat. He’s not high energy, a good romp in the yard or brief walk does him just fine. Athletic enough to enjoy an active lifestyle but settles in the house. Not destructive besides the occasional kids toy. Sweet and affectionate, loves to cuddle and has perfected the dobie lean. Never lets an empty hand go to waste and always nuzzles his face in for pets. Playful and silly. Great recall, no desire to run off just wants to be with his people. Protective, house trained, the list goes on. His challenges to me are really about the management with other dogs, and his extraordinary counter surfing skills. And while he’s not a fit for every household, for the right adopter, he will be an incredible companion. He truly is a good dog at heart, and anyone who has ever loved a Doberman knows how much they thrive with a family to call their own. I continue to hold onto hope that his perfect match is out there—someone who will see him for the incredible dog he is and give him the loving home he’s been patiently waiting for. Story
Animal Profile: Maggie is a sweet happy go lucky Doberman mix pup -- appx 1 year old and 50 lbs -- spayed female. She was a stray intake to the shelter and has a loving and affectionate personality. According to shelter volunteers she's extremely food motivated and very motivated to please. Plus, she's super playful and friendly with other dogs. She walks well on a leash and knows sit and down, but is still young and would benefit from more training -- which she should pick up very quickly!  More info to come as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Maggie is such a great dog! She is energetic and happy go lucky, but has a wonderful snuggle on the sofa off switch. Maggie does great in the apartment and knows our routine well. She is house and crate trained, and adores the large male Doberman in the home. In typical Doberman fashion, she wants to be where the people are. She is a fast, food motivated learner that walks well on leash with a training collar. Maggie does have some minor reactivity; but with a confident handler setting the pace she is easy to manage. She has great recall, but definitely has high prey drive around rabbits and squirrels. Honestly, she has been a joy to have and is going to make one family very, very happy.
