PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hello there! My name is Winston, and I'm on the hunt for my forever family. I was born on March 15, 2025, and I'm growing into a handsome young pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. My favorite thing in the whole world? WATER! If there's a pool, pond, creek, lake, sprinkler, or kiddie pool nearby, count me in. I'll be the first one splashing around and having the time of my life. When I'm not busy practicing my swimming skills, I'm making friends. I love people, enjoy meeting new dogs, and am always excited to be part of the fun. Whether we're going for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or hanging out in the backyard, I'm happiest when I'm with my favorite humans. I'm a social, friendly guy who greets life with a wagging tail and an adventurous spirit. I have the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and sweet companionship, making me an excellent sidekick for whatever adventures come our way. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who loves everyone he meets, never turns down a chance to play in the water, and is ready to make memories with you for years to come, I think we might be a perfect match. Come meet me—I can't wait to make a splash in your life! Love, Winston 🐾

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zelda – Your Snuggle Queen, Loyal Companion, & Total Ham! Zelda is a gorgeous 8-year-old, 75 lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with the softest coat, sweetest eyes, and an adorable smile that will melt your heart. This gentle, loving girl is the definition of a loyal best friend—she bonds deeply with her people and will happily follow you from couch cuddles to evening strolls. She melts right into her people, is a leaner, and is always wagging her tail! She’s an older gal looking to spend her golden years in comfort and love. Zelda adores soft dog beds, a good couch nap, and the occasional snack (she is very treat-motivated and already knows her basic commands). She’s fully house trained, has wonderful house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and even enjoys bath time. Zelda can be dog selective and would prefer to be the only pet in the home—your one and only, queen of the castle. She’s not a fit for homes with cats or other small animals. An ideal match would be someone with big dog experience who can give her the easygoing, love-filled life she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, goofy companion who will bring warmth and joy to every day, Zelda is ready to be your girl. Zelda is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Charlie Boy! He is a Rottweiler/Labrador/Pittie mix. He is around 2 years old. Charlie Boy is a courtesy post for House of Hope at Shelton WA. He has been staying at House of Hope for several months now and is ready for his new home. Charlie Boy was surrendered, because his family no longer had time for him. He's a very sweet, affectionate, and playful dog. He loves just being wherever you are. He is a big lapdog. He has lived with 6 other dogs over the last several months and has done extremely well, considering he was never around dogs, before coming to House of Hope. He can get a little fear reactive in new situations but settles down quickly. I took my time introducing him to the pack here, about a week, and he did great. He really prefers girl dogs over boy dogs. If he is placed in a home with another dog, then the other dog should be a confident dog. He is not a dog park dog, and I would not take him into stores, because he would most likely become overwhelmed and fear reactive. He would be happiest in quiet, calm settings. He loves dog toys, fetching, and hanging out in his yard, giving lots of love, treats, going on walks in his neighborhood, car rides for a pup cup. As his foster mom, I have grown extremely fond of Charlie Boy, because of his sweet, loveable, and easy going personality. Charlie Boy is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands. If interested in adopting Charlie Boy, please submit an adoption application and we will forward it to House of Hope at Shelton WA. His adoption does require a home visit, adoption contract, and an adoption fee of $350.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Honey! 🍯💕 Honey is a 7-year-old, 63-lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. This sweet girl can be shy and a little skittish at first, but with patience and a calm environment, she begins to relax and show her friendly, affectionate side. Honey walks nicely on leash and likes to stay close to her person—sometimes a little too close! When she’s feeling nervous, she may walk right by your side or underfoot for reassurance. Because loud noises and busy environments can startle her, Honey would do best in a quiet suburban or rural home with less traffic and commotion. She’s looking for someone patient who can help her feel safe as she learns the world isn’t such a scary place. She has done well with other dogs in our care and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home to help her feel more secure and show her the ropes. She is gentle, food-motivated, and takes treats very softly, which will make training and confidence-building much easier. Honey’s ideal home: • A calm, quiet environment • Suburban or rural setting with low traffic and noise • A patient adopter who can help build her confidence • A friendly dog companion would be a big plus Honey has not yet been tested with cats or children. With time, patience, and love, this sweet girl has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion Honey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Reyna — this queen is part Rottweiler, part athlete, part professional couch companion, and 100% good girl. Reyna is beautiful, low-shedding, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash like she personally watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer. She loves running, hiking, swimming, fetch, and basically any activity preferred by those mysterious people who voluntarily do cardio when absolutely no one is chasing them. She’s great with kids and medium- to large-sized dogs. However, in true Rottie fashion, Reyna firmly believes squirrels, cats, and other tiny fast-moving creatures are highly suspicious and should be investigated at full speed. Because of this, a home without cats is a must. The squirrels, however, have been warned and remain fair game. After a full day — or at least a good walk and a game of fetch — this gal is more than happy to crash on the couch with her people for cuddles and a full-on Love Island binge session. Athletic, gorgeous… and emotionally available? Honestly, Reyna is setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST! Just like a Twix bar, I am super sweet, a little salty, and really ooey gooey! I was found when I was only 10 months old and brought to God’s Dogs Rescue. I was adopted shortly after but returned due to being a snarky teenager and showing tenacity and energy common with my breeds. Training would have been key! Anyway, since coming back, I have spent almost *4.5 years* living on GDR's ranch property in Texas. I’ve been overlooked all this time and it’s time for that to change! I have now been in a foster home for ~8 months. It took some time to adjust to being indoors again but I have learned the wonders of ✨air conditioning✨. It also took time to adjust to “less dogs” but I‘m loving my newfound personal space. There are other dogs in my foster home but, at my age, I prefer dogs that match my low energy. I would even be fine as the only dog. Certainly no cats or other small animals for me! I still have a tinge of that independent/stubborn streak from my youth but, at the end of the day, I am a BIG LOVER! I get so excited, wiggly, and bouncy with my foster mom. She gives the best hugs and back scratches, I give the best hair tumbleweeds. I shed A LOT! While living at the rescue, they took great care of me...too good, honestly. I put on a lot of weight but have now slimmed down some, too! I am eating less and getting joint supplements every day to continue working on my figure. I am a generally lazy guy but I am amazing on a leash and love to go on walks. More consistent exercise will help with my weight loss. I still have plenty of pep in my step (especially when I‘m on the hunt for squirrels) so don’t let my age or size fool you. I am so ready for my new AND FINAL home! I will melt your heart when you look into my caramel eyes and sweet, chocolatey soul. Don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Animal Information: Alfalfa is a handsome 2.5 year-old, 50-pound, male Doberman Pinscher mix with the sweetest presence to match his good looks. He was at risk at the Stanislaus shelter, and after seeing his notes and videos we knew we had to save him. According to staff, this sweetheart absolutely loves attention and is always happy to soak up affection from his people. He's patient in his kennel, easy to leash, and walks nicely on leash with only minor pulling. Once he's in the yard, his playful side shines -- get ready for some serious zoomies! Alfalfa enjoy being pet all over and is especially a fan of booty scratches. While he can be a little jumpy when excited, he listens well to "no" and "down", already knows how to sit and is eager to please. As a bonus, he's incredibly photogenic and always camera-ready! Foster Profile:   Alfalfa ("Alfie") is a sweet boy with lots of love to give! He is energetic but not 'wild' and would make a great hiking or jogging buddy. He loves fetch in the yard, going on walks, and hanging out with his people getting pets and love. He is good in his crate, but can be vocal when left alone, so would do best in a house where there are often people around. He is potty trained, and rides well in the car. He plays well with all sorts of other dogs, and is great with children (at least as young as 4). He tolerates cats in the home just fine. He has a loyal and protective instinct, and needs to personally inspect anyone who comes to the house. However, once told that the new human is "safe" he becomes very friendly. His instinct is to pull on leash to greet other dogs, but can be redirected fairly easily. He's very smart and eager to please and learn. His happy place is being snuggled up with the humans he trusts!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus shelter in Modesto, Calfornia  via START, arriving to foster care on 1/15 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 3, 2026, 12:16 am

Story
Animal Information: Flint is a 4 month old Doberman mix rescued by a Good Samaritan in SoCal. His foster home had a lot of animals, so he hasn’t had much experience yet with walks or outings, but he’s done great living with small dogs and cats. Flint is a playful, sweet puppy looking for a family to bond with and help teach him the ropes so he can grow into a well-mannered gentleman. He has the typical rambunctiousness of a Doberman puppy, but is smart and eager to please.   Foster Profile:   Flint is super sweet, he’s very energetic and LOVES to play. His favorite toys are anything he can chase and catch! He is highly food motivated, making training sessions easy and fun, though he will need someone patient to keep training fun and exciting for him. He is great with other dogs; he plays rough with smaller dogs and does need a bit of management when he disregards social cues. I chalk this up to his puppy brain. lol H e’s a very rambunctious puppy!  We are looking for a single family home with breed experience and a securely fenced yard for Flint. He is a high energy boy that needs a job -- He would make a great running buddy he is a sprinter and loves to go fast. He would love to go on adventures with you! We are not considering apartments for him at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Information: Andre is a handsome, 1-year-old, 67lb male Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He turned up as a stray and wound up at the Animal Resource Center in Ontario, CA. Our rescue partners met and evaluated him and reached out to our rescue for transfer. Andre passed his dog to dog evaluation and was friendly with everyone he met. We are excited to meet him and help him find a Doberman loving home here in the PNW. Foster Profile: Looking for a dapper Doberdude to be your lifelong companion? Meet Andre! Andre is a handsome 1-year-old, 70-pound Doberman with natural ears and a docked tail. He was found wandering the streets of Ontario, California, thin and alone. One look at his friendly face was all it took for us to say "yes" to bringing this deserving young guy into rescue. Andre is every bit the teenage Doberman—smart, energetic, affectionate, and occasionally stubborn (Doberman lovers will understand!). He is currently thriving in foster care on Whidbey Island, where he shares his home with adults of multiple generations, a female shepherd, and a feline friend. This adventurous boy has embraced foster life and enjoys car rides, ferry rides, hikes, and beach outings. He has already made great progress with e-collar training and is developing into an exceptional companion. True to his breed, Andre is highly intelligent, eager to please, and happiest when he has structure, guidance, and opportunities to learn. Andre would do best in a home with working-breed experience and another confident canine companion. He is social and friendly with other dogs when given proper introductions and would love an active family committed to continuing his training and helping him reach his full potential. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a devoted best friend, and a classic Doberman personality wrapped up in one handsome package, look no further! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
