FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zelda – Your Snuggle Queen, Loyal Companion, & Total Ham! Zelda is a gorgeous 8-year-old, 75 lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with the softest coat, sweetest eyes, and an adorable smile that will melt your heart. This gentle, loving girl is the definition of a loyal best friend—she bonds deeply with her people and will happily follow you from couch cuddles to evening strolls. She melts right into her people, is a leaner, and is always wagging her tail! She’s an older gal looking to spend her golden years in comfort and love. Zelda adores soft dog beds, a good couch nap, and the occasional snack (she is very treat-motivated and already knows her basic commands). She’s fully house trained, has wonderful house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and even enjoys bath time. Zelda can be dog selective and would prefer to be the only pet in the home—your one and only, queen of the castle. She’s not a fit for homes with cats or other small animals. An ideal match would be someone with big dog experience who can give her the easygoing, love-filled life she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, goofy companion who will bring warmth and joy to every day, Zelda is ready to be your girl. Zelda is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Charlie Boy! He is a Rottweiler/Labrador/Pittie mix. He is around 2 years old. Charlie Boy is a courtesy post for House of Hope at Shelton WA. He has been staying at House of Hope for several months now and is ready for his new home. Charlie Boy was surrendered, because his family no longer had time for him. He's a very sweet, affectionate, and playful dog. He loves just being wherever you are. He is a big lapdog. He has lived with 6 other dogs over the last several months and has done extremely well, considering he was never around dogs, before coming to House of Hope. He can get a little fear reactive in new situations but settles down quickly. I took my time introducing him to the pack here, about a week, and he did great. He really prefers girl dogs over boy dogs. If he is placed in a home with another dog, then the other dog should be a confident dog. He is not a dog park dog, and I would not take him into stores, because he would most likely become overwhelmed and fear reactive. He pulls very hard on a regular leash and collar, so he is walked with a no pull harness. He loves car rides, but barks at people he sees walking/biking. Charlie will only be adopted out to someone that has experience with a dog like him...no exceptions. He would be happiest in quiet, calm settings. He loves dog toys, fetching, and hanging out in his yard, giving lots of love, treats, going on walks in his neighborhood, car rides for a pup cup. As his foster mom, I have grown extremely fond of Charlie Boy, because of his sweet, loveable, and goofy personality. Charlie Boy is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, house trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands. He is also muzzle trained. If interested in adopting Charlie Boy, please submit an adoption application and we will forward it to House of Hope at Shelton WA. His adoption does require a home visit, adoption contract, and an adoption fee of $350.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in Forster care) Meet Honey! Honey is a 7½-year-old, 63-pound Rottweiler/Lab mix with the sweetest soul and an easygoing personality that’s impossible not to love. Since settling into her foster home, she’s quickly become “one of the pack” and has shown what a wonderful companion she is! Honey is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners. She is currently living with a couple other large dogs and has fit right in, proving to be a friendly, respectful housemate who enjoys the company of other dogs. She also does well with cats! This sweet girl loves spending time outdoors, whether she’s soaking up the sunshine, exploring the yard, or occasionally showing off her digging skills. She’s also a bit of a playful thief and may sneak off with a slipper if given the opportunity! Like many dogs, she’ll still chew on things if they’re left within reach, so providing appropriate toys and keeping tempting items picked up will help set her up for success. Honey is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. She’s the type of dog who will happily lean against you for pets, relax by your side, and simply enjoy being part of the family. She enjoys playing with toys and is still learning how to fully let loose and play with both people and her canine friends, but she’s becoming more confident every day. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, well-mannered companion who’s already settled well into home life, Honey may just be the missing piece your family has been looking for! Honey is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Meet Reyna — this queen is part Rottweiler, part athlete, part professional couch companion, and 100% good girl. Reyna is beautiful, low-shedding, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash like she personally watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer. She loves running, hiking, swimming, fetch, and basically any activity preferred by those mysterious people who voluntarily do cardio when absolutely no one is chasing them. She’s great with kids and medium- to large-sized dogs. However, in true Rottie fashion, Reyna firmly believes squirrels, cats, and other tiny fast-moving creatures are highly suspicious and should be investigated at full speed. Because of this, a home without cats is a must. The squirrels, however, have been warned and remain fair game. After a full day — or at least a good walk and a game of fetch — this gal is more than happy to crash on the couch with her people for cuddles and a full-on Love Island binge session. Athletic, gorgeous… and emotionally available? Honestly, Reyna is setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

The classic debate- left Twix versus right Twix... Either way, it'll be delicious!! Just like a Twix bar, I am super sweet, a little salty, and really ooey gooey. I was found when I was 10 months old and brought to God’s Dogs Rescue. I was adopted for about a year but have, otherwise, spent my life in the rescue system. I'm now entering my golden years and have been overlooked for long enough! I have lived with many dogs in the past but, at my age, I prefer those that are lower energy and will live and let live. I would also be fine as the only dog. I am a generally lazy guy but I still have a stubborn streak and will assert myself if needed. I'm not a fan of smaller animals (cats, birds, etc.) unless we are talking about favorite snacks. In my foster home, I am an easy-going guy and the BIGGEST LOVER. I get so excited, wiggly, and bouncy with my humans. They give the best back scratches, I give the best hair tumbleweeds. I am also amazing on leash so walks are a breeze. My favorite way to get around though, is a ride in the car. I love nothing more than cruising around the neighborhood with the wind in my ears. I am so ready for my new AND FINAL home! Choose me and I will melt your heart like a Twix bar in the Texas sun. Don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! You will get an AMAZING and DEDICATED and EXTREMELY LOYAL DOG! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Story
Animal Information: Flint is a 4 month old Doberman mix rescued by a Good Samaritan in SoCal. His foster home had a lot of animals, so he hasn’t had much experience yet with walks or outings, but he’s done great living with small dogs and cats. Flint is a playful, sweet puppy looking for a family to bond with and help teach him the ropes so he can grow into a well-mannered gentleman. He has the typical rambunctiousness of a Doberman puppy, but is smart and eager to please.   Foster Profile:   Flint is super sweet, he’s very energetic and LOVES to play. His favorite toys are anything he can chase and catch! He is highly food motivated, making training sessions easy and fun, though he will need someone patient to keep training fun and exciting for him. He is great with other dogs; he plays rough with smaller dogs and does need a bit of management when he disregards social cues. I chalk this up to his puppy brain. lol H e’s a very rambunctious puppy!  We are looking for a single family home with breed experience and a securely fenced yard for Flint. He is a high energy boy that needs a job -- He would make a great running buddy he is a sprinter and loves to go fast. He would love to go on adventures with you! We are not considering apartments for him at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus in Modesto, CA. They will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 5/14/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 24, 2026, 8:04 pm

Story
Animal Information: Alfalfa is a handsome 2.5 year-old, 50-pound, male Doberman Pinscher mix with the sweetest presence to match his good looks. He was at risk at the Stanislaus shelter, and after seeing his notes and videos we knew we had to save him. According to staff, this sweetheart absolutely loves attention and is always happy to soak up affection from his people. He's patient in his kennel, easy to leash, and walks nicely on leash with only minor pulling. Once he's in the yard, his playful side shines -- get ready for some serious zoomies! Alfalfa enjoy being pet all over and is especially a fan of booty scratches. While he can be a little jumpy when excited, he listens well to "no" and "down", already knows how to sit and is eager to please. As a bonus, he's incredibly photogenic and always camera-ready! Foster Profile:   Alfalfa ("Alfie") is a sweet boy with lots of love to give! He is energetic but not 'wild' and would make a great hiking or jogging buddy. He loves fetch in the yard, going on walks, and hanging out with his people getting pets and love. He is good in his crate, but can be vocal when left alone, so would do best in a house where there are often people around. He is potty trained, and rides well in the car. He plays well with all sorts of other dogs, and is great with children (at least as young as 4). He tolerates cats in the home just fine. He has a loyal and protective instinct, and needs to personally inspect anyone who comes to the house. However, once told that the new human is "safe" he becomes very friendly. His instinct is to pull on leash to greet other dogs, but can be redirected fairly easily. He's very smart and eager to please and learn. His happy place is being snuggled up with the humans he trusts!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus shelter in Modesto, Calfornia  via START, arriving to foster care on 1/15 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 24, 2026, 8:04 pm

Story
Animal Information: Black Betty, Atlas, Morrigan,, Vesper and Raven are Dobermans with natural ears and tails. They were born in foster care in Modesto, and the shelter staff wanted to avoid putting them into a kennel environment, so they reached out to see if we could help. How could we say no? These puppies are healthy, social, and will be large breed dogs that would do best in homes with working breed experience, in single family residences with fenced yards. We will not be considering apartment homes at this time. Foster Profile: Meet Betty! A spunky and affectionate Doberman puppy just begging for you to take her home. She spends most of her days hanging out with animals of many varieties. Her playmates being dogs, chickens and goats. She also loves her clothing. If the weather is under 65 she’ll practically beg for a coat! If shes not too busy playing with her friends she’s probably enjoying a nice walk. Betty loves to go out into public and make friends with anyone who’ll let her. We are only considering homes with working breed experience, single family residences with fenced yards, and another canine companion. We will not be considering apartment homes at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
