FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zelda – Your Snuggle Queen, Loyal Companion, & Total Ham! Zelda is a gorgeous 8-year-old, 75 lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with the softest coat, sweetest eyes, and an adorable smile that will melt your heart. This gentle, loving girl is the definition of a loyal best friend—she bonds deeply with her people and will happily follow you from couch cuddles to evening strolls. She melts right into her people, is a leaner, and is always wagging her tail! She’s an older gal looking to spend her golden years in comfort and love. Zelda adores soft dog beds, a good couch nap, and the occasional snack (she is very treat-motivated and already knows her basic commands). She’s fully house trained, has wonderful house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and even enjoys bath time. Zelda can be dog selective and would prefer to be the only pet in the home—your one and only, queen of the castle. She’s not a fit for homes with cats or other small animals. An ideal match would be someone with big dog experience who can give her the easygoing, love-filled life she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, goofy companion who will bring warmth and joy to every day, Zelda is ready to be your girl. Zelda is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 7-year-old handsome male Rottweiler in need of a home. When I walk into a room or down the street, I exude presence, and you'll surely get lots of looks with me by your side. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed now and then, but nobody will notice. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome, healthy and rugged 10-year-old Rottie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle in the evenings. Since being rescued a few years ago, I haven't been adopted and I want a home. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have MANY positive traits - I am affectionate (I love to give hugs once I know you!), I walk well on a leash, and I am a very loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with some dogs (especially females), I can be reactive on a leash. I would thrive as an only dog, or at least as an only male dog, as I love human attention and affection and I'd do well with a strong owner, too. I weigh about 80 lbs. Please email for an application.

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ This sweet, squishy-faced girl is one of a growing number of homeless dogs born during the COVID shutdown, loved in isolation, but given no tools to manage the big outside world. Left to herself in a world she had never experienced and doesn’t understand, Petunia was picked up as a stray shortly after 4th of July. Likely traumatized by the fireworks, scared by all the strange sights, sounds and smells in a high-kill shelter, she made it out alive only because the shelter staff recognized her strengths and worked hard to find a placement, and RED took a chance that the frightened, shutdown girl they met would blossom into a beautiful ambassador of her breed. While Petunia is still a work in progress, we would like to find a home where she can really blossom with training and further socialization. Petunia is 2-3 years old and small for a Rottie at 75 lbs. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. She has the intelligence of her breed and loves to play with her male foster brother. She is still scared of the big world and of strangers but she adjusts more quickly, and we believe she will eventually be that ambassador. Petunia needs a home with adults who are committed to training. She will not do well with children at this point and she has not been tested with cats. She will need a well-fenced yard where she can safely play fetch, which she loves. A yard with underground (Invisible) fencing will not be considered for placement. If you think you can provide the life Petunia deserves and the training and socialization she needs, please see the application process at http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php. Petunia is being fostered in the Port Orchard area, and meet & greets will take place there. Her adoption donation is $300 Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in Washington and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN KITSAP COUNTY, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard 5 ft+ - Like sized dog only or no other pet home - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. Story
Meet Abby! This beautiful 8-month-old, 33-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.
