Hi, my name is Dugan and I`m available for adoption! I`m an 11yr 1mo old male Rottweiler mix dog, black/tan (ID #A743085). I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 2/9/26. At 74lbs I`m considered a large breed dog. I`m an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home. I`m also an easy going guy, so I prefer to have a house that I can wander around in and have the couch and bed to share with my people!I am allergic to chicken, which causes my skin to break out and get real itchy. My caretakers have been following a very simple routine...not feeding me chicken, and occasionally giving me baths...to help with my allergies. I am doing amazing and have already regrown most of my fur!I have lived in a house with a small, calm dog and did well with him. I would do best with a slow introduction to any current pets in my new home. It would be best to bring the whole family to meet me (children and/or dog) so that I can meet everyone in a neutral location. I am a member of RASKC`s playgroup pals! Ask shelter staff if you would like to know which dogs I have met and how I interact with other dogs!I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! I was nominated for Pet of the Week on March 10, 2026. This means that my adoption fee has been reduced! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). I have a sweet rambunctious rottweiler mix needing a forever family. This is Percy. He is a 3 year old mix that came into our lives at about 11 weeks old from craigslist. They knew mom was a rottweiler but unsure what dad was. He has been neutered but will need to be updated on vaccinations. Percy is potty trained and has great house manners. He has been raised with dogs and cats and loves them both. We just recently had our first child and he has been very good with her. We unfortunately cant keep him due to financial reasons so we are looking for his forever family. He has puppy energy to spare so a yard or the opportunity to go on walks would be a must. He loves to play with toys especially stuffed toys, he prefers to share and play with others but can entertain himself also. He loves to play chase and wrestle. Percy is about 80lbs of muscle so an experienced pet owner would be best. Percy loves to talk and be vocal. He has opinions that must be heard and he is a great protector.

We adopted Bheema from a shelter and have had him for three months. He was brought to the shelter abandoned and tremendously underweight. The vet thinks he is about a year old. Bheema is a sweet, loyal, dog with lots of young puppy energy. He is a quick learner and is house-trained and can sit, stay and come and leave it/release. I would say he does live up to the "velcro dog" association of this breed. We are rehoming Bheema because he has high anxiety, including separation anxiety, and is very protective of our home, which makes it hard to have people over because he barks/is anxious. In talking to a Rottweiler specialists these are all trainable, but it will take time and we feel that we do not have the time/capacity. Seeking someone with expertise with this breed and (nonviolent) dog training background. He will make someone very happy with the right training and owners with a resonant lifestyle to have this type of dog. He needs lots of exercise and stimulation.
