FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Give a warm welcome to this big teddy bear, Taz! He is a beautiful, 2-year-old, 75lb Rottweiler, who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Taz is a very sweet and loving dog who listens well to his handler and loves to go on walks. He loves to please his handler which is great for training purposes. He is incredibly cuddly for a big boy and loves to snuggle up with you. We believe he was in a home once, as he knows some basic commands already such as sit, down, and shake. He does well with other dogs and would be fine as an only dog or an additional dog to a home. He is going to make such a loyal companion to whoever ends up being his lucky adopter. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard for him. Taz is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Calling all Rottie and senior dog lovers!!! Zelda has been enjoying her foster home for a few months now but will be losing her fosters soon and would love to find her forever home! She is a 7.5-year-old, 80lb Rottweiler, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home. Zelda is a sweet girl who would love nothing more than being by your side all day. She is incredibly polite, and as long as she has a cozy place to rest, she’s content. Zelda does wonderfully in a kennel and loves her naps through the day. She’s good on a leash, though she doesn’t always want other dogs coming up to say hello. Zelda does have some issues with resource guarding and would probably prefer being an only dog or having an experienced owner. Without resources as an issue, she loves having other dogs around and playing a good game of chase! She loves her treats but is still learning to take them gently from hands, so fingers beware! Zelda does super well in the car and would be a great driving buddy to have. She’s still getting the hang of “fetch” but loves chasing balls around the yard. Zelda does okay on stairs, but more than a few could be an issue as she can be quite clumsy. Zelda is a total sweetheart who wants to have her person that she can follow from room to room and share her love with. And if you’re lucky, once she feels comfortable with you, you might be rewarded with some hoppy little tippy taps when she’s excited to see you. She has also worked on mastering house training and recall! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Bailey - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, let me introduce myself. I'm Bailey and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am a sweet little girl looking for my furever family! I would love to meet you and show you my new learned skill: sitting on command! I am very playful, and chewing on my toys is one of my favorite things to do. I like to wrestle and growl while playing tug of war, and will do just about anything for a treat! Along with my sister, I grew up with 7 brothers, and learned pretty quick how to hold my ground. I am an independent girl, but also love to play with others. If you’re looking for an awesome addition to your family, I might just be the pup for you! I'm about 4 months old and come in at around 19lbs. I should be a great size when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm gonna be that perfectly pawsome size for ALL adventures, from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am a social lil gal that loves her people both tall and small but do remember I still have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I has got a beautiful tri color coat and such an expressive face you'll have a hard time telling me 'no' even when getting into puppy shenanigans!! I has got a sweet nature that does love to run around and play with all the other foster pups here. I do really well playing with the other pups but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, but at my young age and with proper introductions I should be fine with them too! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness and be that lil heartbeat at your feet. So, if you think I could be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Star is an adorable and sweet pup who is about to be 3 months old. She is friendly and loves everyone. Great with people, dogs, and we predict cats too if she grows up with one. This pup and siblings were abandoned on a rural road outside Austin, Texas, likely left in a box found nearby. In freezing, wet conditions, they were at serious risk, especially Apollo, who was found in the middle of the road. Two good Samaritans rescued the litter, with one taking two puppies and the other taking three. While we couldn’t secure the first two, we were able to bring Apollo, Star, and Peppermint into rescue care. Thanks to Apollo’s presence in the road, the entire litter was noticed—ultimately saving their lives. They will soon have all their shots and be spayed/neutered and ready to go! We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie and you're in driving distance to Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, or Hartford, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: adoption fee is in US dollars. Due to the pups young age, you'll have to pick up the pup in the US.) There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you! We're looking forward to your inquiry!

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Meet Emily Rue – Your New Adventure Buddy! Currently in a home and due to no fault of her own, is looking for a new forever family. Emily Rue is a sweet, affectionate, and social ~4-5 year-old pup who has blossomed into a confident and well-adjusted companion. She thrives in a stable, structured home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and has another playful dog to keep her company. Crate-trained and well-mannered, Emily sees her crate as a safe and comfortable space when left unattended. She enjoys outdoor adventures, structured training, and car rides, and she absolutely LOVES camping! She’s a fantastic walking partner, travels well, and enjoys being part of a loving family. While she can be shy in large dog groups, she quickly bonds with trusted companions and does well with guests in the home. She has even learned to coexist with a kitten. Emily is playful with her humans and enjoys engaging in fun activities. She has been around children but is generally indifferent to them. She knows all the basic commands, is essentially place-trained, and thrives on positive reinforcement training. While she’s great on walks, she still has some prey drive when off-leash, so she would do best with an active, outdoorsy family—especially one with another dog and possibly children. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous, and well-trained companion to join your family, Emily Rue might be the perfect fit!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
