FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Zelda – Your Snuggle Queen, Loyal Companion, & Total Ham! Zelda is a gorgeous 8-year-old, 75 lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with the softest coat, sweetest eyes, and an adorable smile that will melt your heart. This gentle, loving girl is the definition of a loyal best friend—she bonds deeply with her people and will happily follow you from couch cuddles to evening strolls. She melts right into her people, is a leaner, and is always wagging her tail! She’s an older gal looking to spend her golden years in comfort and love. Zelda adores soft dog beds, a good couch nap, and the occasional snack (she is very treat-motivated and already knows her basic commands). She’s fully house trained, has wonderful house manners, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and even enjoys bath time. Zelda can be dog selective and would prefer to be the only pet in the home—your one and only, queen of the castle. She’s not a fit for homes with cats or other small animals. An ideal match would be someone with big dog experience who can give her the easygoing, love-filled life she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, goofy companion who will bring warmth and joy to every day, Zelda is ready to be your girl. Zelda is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Honey! Honey is a 7-year-old, 63-lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. This sweet girl can be shy and a little skittish at first, but with patience and a calm environment, she begins to relax and show her friendly, affectionate side. Honey walks nicely on leash and likes to stay close to her person—sometimes a little too close! When she’s feeling nervous, she may walk right by your side or underfoot for reassurance. Because loud noises and busy environments can startle her, Honey would do best in a quiet suburban or rural home with less traffic and commotion. She’s looking for someone patient who can help her feel safe as she learns the world isn’t such a scary place. She has done well with other dogs in our care and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home to help her feel more secure and show her the ropes. She is gentle, food-motivated, and takes treats very softly, which will make training and confidence-building much easier. Honey’s ideal home: • A calm, quiet environment • Suburban or rural setting with low traffic and noise • A patient adopter who can help build her confidence • A friendly dog companion would be a big plus Honey has not yet been tested with cats or children. With time, patience, and love, this sweet girl has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion Honey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
Please note that we are a TX based rescue. We transport our dogs to new homes once adopted. All our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org **Hi. I’m basically a tiny velvet hippo with legs.** I’m about 4 months old, and I was found abandoned on a rural ranch—which sounds sad, but don’t worry… I’ve decided my life story is actually a glow-up story. I’m expected to be around 45–50 lbs when I grow up, so right now I’m in my “perfectly portable but still squishy” phase. Also important: my coat is ridiculously soft. Like… *velvet soft*. People can’t stop petting me, and honestly? I support that. **Here’s what you should know about me:** • **Velvet Queen** – pet me once and you’ll understand • **Food Motivated Scholar** – I will learn *anything* for snacks. Sit? Yes. Stay? Probably. Taxes? Let’s talk treats. • **Dog-Friendly** – I love having buddies to play with • **Cat Approved** – yes, I can coexist with the mysterious house tigers • **People Lover** – I come pre-installed with affection for everyone • **Playful + Sweet** – I’ve got zoomies *and* snuggles I’m still a baby, so I’m learning all the good house manners, but I’m smart, eager, and very into positive reinforcement (especially if it’s edible). **My dream home:** Someone who wants a loyal, loving, slightly goofy best friend and doesn’t mind having a soft little shadow following them around. If you’re looking for a sweet, social pup with a heart of gold and a coat you’ll never stop touching… I’m your girl. Apply now. I’m cute and I know it. 🐾

Story
HI - I'M MORGAN, and I'm a large (90-pound-plus) 7-year-old handsome male Rottweiler in need of a home. When I walk into a room or down the street, I exude presence, and you'll surely get lots of looks with me by your side. I'm a very loyal Rottie and will be loving and protective to my person. I especially love women though would do fine with the right guy. I'm not fond of farm animals, and I'm also not a fan of some veterinarians. I do have some arthritis, so stairs do not work for me. I'm also bit flat-footed now and then, but nobody will notice. Rottweiler or big-dog experience is essential! I would do best with a single person or a couple who wants a loyal companion and who has experience with the breed. I would also do best in a quiet home where my person or people are my world. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle and take me for walks and other outings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, particularly females. And I love human attention - I am warm and caring. I'd do well with a strong owner, too. Please email for an application. I'm currently still in Southern California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application and additional photos.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR ONE OF OUR LONG-TIMERS! Cody has been waiting for his forever family with us for 6 YEARS! He is such a sweet boy, and deserves to spend his golden years in a warm and loving home. Cody is a 8-9 year old, 60lb, Boxer/Shepherd mix. He is sweet and has lots of love to give, despite a rough beginning. He bonds deeply to his people and loves attention and affection. He is smart, enjoys treats and is glad to work for them! He will thrive in a home that can provide continued training and structure. He still has quite a bit of energy for an older pup and would love a home that will take him on walks to explore, and better yet, a home with his own fenced yard to run and play! He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 10 as he can be a bit jumpy when excited. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody is UTD on shots, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $350.

He has a loving nature, enjoys being around people, and brings that fun, happy energy to the mix! He does well with other dogs and has a friendly, social personality. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Phoenix! Phoenix is a 4-year-old, 53 lb Boxer who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome brindle boy is full of personality, energy, and charm—and he’s ready to find an active home to call his own! Phoenix is sweet, goofy, and loves to have fun. He’s an energetic guy who enjoys being part of the action and would thrive with adopters who want a dog to join them on walks, adventures, and an active day-to-day lifestyle. Like many Boxers, Phoenix has a playful, expressive nature. When he gets excited, he likes to jump up and “box” with his people, so he’ll need continued work on manners and would do best in a home without very young children (or with older, dog-savvy kids who understand his enthusiasm). Phoenix has done well with other dogs but prefers slow introductions to new canine friends. He’s a strong, spirited dog who will benefit from a confident handler committed to training, structure, and helping him channel his energy in positive ways. With his striking brindle coat, fun-loving personality, and loyal heart, Phoenix is ready to be someone’s adventure buddy and best friend. If you’re looking for a playful, active, and handsome companion, Phoenix might just be your perfect match! Phoenix is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
