Story
Boca is our senior gentleman who despite his mature age still has some pep! He likes to go for a walk or have some playtime in a yard, but is mellow and quiet and happy to just hang out with you the rest of the time! He is a male German Shepherd mix, who is approximately nine years old, and currently weighs about 80 pounds. He was brought to our shelter on 1/6/26 after being found in unincorporated San Leandro, and although he had a micro-chip, he hasn't been reclaimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! He has been vaccinated, has had recent blood work done, is already neutered, and will be micro-chipped before going to his new home. His adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). Boca qualifies for Fluffy Dog Friday and Senior Sunday! Adopt him on a Friday or a Sunday and we'll waive his adoption fee!

Story
Meet Rinaldo!Rinaldo is a sweet, wiggly boy who just needs a moment to warm up-and once he does, you'll see his whole personality shine! He is a recent tripod and is recovering very well, adapting impressively and continuing to enjoy life with confidence and resilience. At first, Rinaldo can be a little unsure, taking his time to figure out if new people and places are safe. But with patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, he blossoms into the most affectionate, happy pup. Once he trusts you, get ready for the wiggles! His tail goes nonstop, and he loves leaning in for soft pets and quiet moments together.Rinaldo is also a bit rowdy and full of enthusiasm, so he would do best in a home without small children. He's the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will be incredibly loyal to the person who shows him understanding and love. Rinaldo is looking for a calm, steady home that will give him the time he needs to feel secure. In return, he'll give you all the sweetness, resilience, and wiggly joy he has to offer. If you believe the best things are worth a little patience, Rinaldo may be your perfect match. Come meet him-he's ready to trust someone special. Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
German Shepherd Age: 2-3 yr old Female, Spayed 50 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Cheyanne was brought to the shelter as a very young, small, emaciated puppy with two broken legs (assumably from being hit by a car). Since as a German Shepherd, she had a lot of growing to do, the only viable option was to splint the legs and hope for the best. Fast forward 5 months and her front leg healed pretty well (which is good - front legs are more critical than hind legs for mobility. Unfortunately, we weren’t as lucky with her back leg. The severity of the fractures, impeded the needed bone growth, and the leg ended up shortened. There are ongoing discussions with the vet about whether to amputate that leg. Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs will cover the cost of the amputation, if that happens. Otherwise Cheyanne is a sweet dog that needs a lot of socialization with people. Shepherds are naturally wary of strangers, so continuing her peoples skills is important. She loves all the dogs in her foster home. We don’t put shepherds in homes with cats. A home with another well socialized dog around her size would be ideal. Please note for large breed dogs, we require that potential adopters own their home, with a securely fenced-in backyard. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Cheyanne, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com

Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Shepherd Mix Age: 1 yr old Male, Neutered > 30 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Roth came to the shelter as a stray with a serious issue with his pee-pee (paraphimosis). The shelter’s vet did emergency surgery, then called us to rescue him. Unfortunately, the first surgery was unsuccessful (scar tissue closure causing the inability to urinate) so our vet had to go in do another surgery. So far, it is all good, however, he may need another procedure as he gets bigger (if he gets bigger). Given his mix with Chihuahua, he main remain a medium-size dog. Otherwise, Roth is a sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy that is people and dog friendly. He walks on a leash. He will need some training on jumping on people, and a few other puppy manners. Roth needs a home with another playful dog(s), probably close to his size or larger. Potential adopters must own their home with a good size fenced-in backyard. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Roth, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com
