Story
** Hi there! I'm FANNY BRICE, the gal with the bright smile! ** I'm a smiley female Shepherd mix who is approximately 4 years and weighs 80 lbs. My lovely tan coat is as golden as the sun, and it's soft and ready for all the pets! I have been told I have a contagious smile and adorable, quirky ears, and I'd never say no to a belly rub! You will rarely see me without a smile and that is how I got my unique name! I'm named after a supawstar - go ahead, look it up - and you'll see that I am too! My volunteer pals will tell you that the best part of my day is when I'm able to spend time in the yard or go for a walk. I'm relatively easy to take in and out of my kennel but I do express myself with loud barking when I'm in my kennel and see other dogs being taken out before me. I so badly want to be outside too. If my future home has another dog, it is required we have a meet and greet at the shelter. I may be more open to big dogs - but I don't particularly care for small dogs and have let them know it. Once I'm outside, I love to go on sniffaris, soak up the sunshine, and play a good game of fetch. I love to play with any toys, especially balls! The bouncier, the better. However, when I see smaller animals, especially those pesky squirrels, my volunteer pals have to get my attention and distract me so I can get back to doing my favorite things! Treats usually do the trick, I love a good jerky treat - actually most any treat will do, I'm not picky! I listen well and have learned commands like "sit,'' "down,'' "turn around,'' "drop it,'' and even "stay''! I'm brains *and* beauty! I can hardly wait to learn even more with my new furever family. I have a lot of love to give and I love to show my affection by licking you and showing I'm happy with my daily rolls in the grass (ahhh, that's the spot!), and leaning in for belly rubs (those are my fave). I want to catch some rays with you, join you on new adventures, or anything in between so long as we're together. I can't wait for you to see my smile in person - don't wait too long to come meet me! ## Fanny's spay is being sponsored by TVAR ($35 adoption and, if applicable, licensing fees still apply) ## ## See video of Fanny at the end of the photo gallery! ## TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/ Fanny Brice's Shelter ID# is 81689. She's an approximately 4-year-old, female, brown and black, Shepherd mix. She currently weighs 81 lbs. She has already been vaccinated and spayed and will be microchipped before going to her new home. Fanny Brice is located in kennel A-3. ** Age shown is an estimate only ** THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.

Story
**Meet Maise this Saturday, July 6th from 10:00 to 1:00 at Dublin Petsmart West, 6960 Amador Plaza Rd.** Puppy Maise is one of the sweetest we've met! A darling girl, only 3-months-old, she resembles a German Shepherd but appears to be mixed with a smaller breed dog, possibly a Terrier. She will likely be in the medium size range when fully grown. She currently weighs 13 pounds. Maise is doing very well in her foster home. We just took her in and we're getting to know her. She adores people and enjoys lots of playtime and activities. She is lively and cute and precious! Maise is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you are interested in Maise, please submit an application by clicking the "Apply For Adoption box " located below her photos on the right side. Story
We got Rocko in July of 2022 and he has been a great dog. Very loving and energetic. He loves to go on walks, play fetch, and sleeping. He is very smart and is able to open doors, so watch out. We are rehoming him because our lives have gotten very busy and we are now living in an apartment. He is a 2 1/2 year old purebred German Shepherd. I am looking for a loving family with a backyard, and someone to give him attention.

Story
Shepherd Mix Age: < 1 yr old Male, Neutered > 30 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Roth came to the shelter as a stray with a serious issue with his pee-pee (paraphimosis). The shelter’s vet did emergency surgery, then called us to rescue him. Unfortunately, the first surgery was unsuccessful (scar tissue closure causing the inability to urinate) so our vet had to go in do another surgery. So far, it is all good, however, he may need another procedure as he gets bigger (if he gets bigger). Given his mix with Chihuahua, he main remain a medium-size dog. Otherwise, Roth is a sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy that is people and dog friendly. He walks on a leash. He will need some training on jumping on people, and a few other puppy manners. Roth needs a home with another playful dog(s), probably close to his size or larger. Potential adopters must own their home with a good size fenced-in backyard. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Roth, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com

Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
German Shepherd Age: < 1 yr old Female, Spayed 40 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Cheyanne was brought to the shelter as a very young, small, emaciated puppy with two broken legs (assumably from being hit by a car). Since as a German Shepherd, she had a lot of growing to do, the only viable option was to splint the legs and hope for the best. Fast forward 5 months and her front leg healed pretty well (which is good - front legs are more critical than hind legs for mobility. Unfortunately, we weren’t as lucky with her back leg. The severity of the fractures, impeded the needed bone growth, and the leg ended up shortened. There are ongoing discussions with the vet about whether to amputate that leg. Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs will cover the cost of the amputation, if that happens. Otherwise Cheyanne is a sweet dog that needs a lot of socialization with people. Shepherds are naturally wary of strangers, so continuing her peoples skills is important. She loves all the dogs in her foster home. We don’t put shepherds in homes with cats. A home with another well socialized dog around her size would be ideal. Please note for large breed dogs, we require that potential adopters own their home, with a securely fenced-in backyard. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Cheyanne, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com
