Welcome Kylo to the CBR crew! Kylo came to us from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA. He is a very sweet, young guy at 2 years old. Kylo had tested well with a female pitty and a male pitty as well and did great. While being in foster, Kylo has done well with his pitty foster brother, Carter and his foster cat sibling as well. He is all around a fantastic guy who just has so much love to give! He enjoys playing with toys, running in the yard and getting lots of lovin'! Kylo has spent 6 weeks of professional training with Lee Johnson of BeSpokeK9 and is practicing being his best self and his new and improved leash skills! Kylo comes with lifetime assistance from his trainer @boooshank (IG), group classes for the rest of his life, 1:1 lessons, boarding options and priority swimming pool slots for anyone who takes a chance on this amazing guy! Story
Hi, I'm Belle! I came to the Avenal Animal Shelter with my sister, Bailey when we were found as strays. We were both very scared and terrified when we got there (understandably so) but with the hard work and dedication of the volunteers there, they were able to get us both to open up and shine! I am seemingly good with both kitty friends and dog friends and i am in love with kiddos! I am in a foster home with twin 12 yr old humans and i am very gentle with them and love them very much! They give me confidence and show me love everyday! I enjoy walks, stuffy toys (I carry them around everywhere) they help me when my nerves! I would love to find my forever home! Can i be your new best friend? I am currently being fostered in Fairfield, CA. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.californiabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
Bronx is an incredibly lovable, loyal, and energetic mixed breed seeking his forever home. Recently adopted from the shelter, we quickly realized our 1-bedroom apartment isn’t the ideal environment for him. Bronx thrives in spacious areas where he can run and play freely. He’s a playful giant who enjoys the company of big dogs that match his energy, and he gets along wonderfully with our smaller 20 lb dog. Bronx is fantastic with children and has a natural instinct to protect and care for them. He’s great with my niece and nephew, and we believe he would be an excellent guardian and playmate in a home with a yard and kids. This cuddly giant loves to play fetch, engage in tug-of-war, and run around until he’s happily exhausted. Bronx would flourish in a home with a fenced yard filled with love and play. Why He’ll Steal Your Heart: Calm during grooming: Easy to bathe. Affectionate: Loves giving/receiving kisses. Great car companion: stays calm during long trips. Plays well with kids.

Story
Pitbull Mix Age: 2-3 yrs old Male, Neutered 50 lbs Click here for Adoption Application Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Grady (a.k.a. “Bear”) came to foster care from the Stockton animal shelter with a plea to save this wonderful dog. Grady likely was hit by a car and was limping around for an estimated month prior to being picked up by animal control. He had a broken pelvis and needed FHO surgery. He was probably in a lot of pain for two months, if not more. Despite his pain, Grady was labeled a “staff favorite” at the shelter due to his sweet demeanor and love of affection from his human friends there taking care of him. This information led him to being saved by a willing foster with pittie experience and Nobody’s Perfekt Rescue. Grady was pulled out of the shelter, just in the nick of time. Once in foster care, Grady took a couple of weeks to get used to the house dog. He was in pain, in a crate and in an unfamiliar place, so slow introductions were needed. After about two weeks, he and the house dog, a female pittie named Ruby, became best friends and love play. Grady would love to have a friend to play with in a home but could likely also be the only dog. Grady would be best suited for a dog friend similar in size and gets along well with female dogs. Grady needs slow and proper introductions to another dog through crate or area rotation. On leash, he can be leash reactive when around other big dogs that he does not know. He walks well on leash otherwise but is still limping on his rear left leg. Grady is a cuddle-lovebug with a very cute little underbite and has the face of a baby bear, hence his nickname. He loves every human he has met so far and loves sleeping in his foster mom’s lap. Grady loves to melt into your arms or lap and hang out on the couch and loves affection. He’s an easy dog to handle and listens well. He knows how to sit, wait and probably shake, but loses balance when he tries, due to his rear leg. Grady will alert when someone is at the front door and barks at leaf blowers and loud equipment. He will need regular attention and training but responds well to treats and food. He should also be fed separately from any other dog in the house, as most dogs do when food is present. Grady sleeps through the night in his crate and is house-potty trained. He knows how to use a doggie door and uses it regularly in his foster home. Any home would be lucky to have Grady-Bear and he would make a wonderful addition to any household. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. For more information about Grady, contact: nobodysperfektdogs@gmail.com

Story
Chunk is a bit of special boy, he's very dog neutrally and friendly, he gets along great with them and could live with them. However, when he does live with another dog, it makes him lose trust in humans and causes him to bite when he's afraid, though he never does this in a home without other dogs. So, a home where he can be the only dog would be best or in a home with 1 other mellow dog. Chunk has spent 12 weeks of professional training with Lee Johnson of BeSpokeK9 and is practicing being his best self and his new and improved leash skills! Chunk comes with lifetime assistance from his trainer @boooshank (IG), group classes for the rest of his life, 1:1 lessons, boarding options and priority swimming pool slots for anyone who takes a chance on this amazing guy! Chunk is a special boy and looking for his special family He loves to play, very food motivated and enjoys walks! He gets triggered by loud noises, quick movements and will bark when he wants cuddles. Chunk is a very healthy English Bulldog and doesn't even have most of their allergies or skin concerns that typically accompany the breed. Without dogs, he is absolutely perfect, cuddly, affectionate, and calm. He'll follow you around the house and try to be a lap dog whenever he can! Chunk needs a very structured home, where boundaries are enforced and kept. Chunk is being fostered in Fairfield, CA. If you would like to meet Chunk, please fill out our adoption application on our website www.cabullyrescue.org/adopt.

Hi! I am Cheesecake, well...simply because i look like one. LOL. I am dog friendly but have had a hard time trusting new people. I am working on this and my confidence and am doing my best! I was saved from Merced Shelter right around Thanksgiving. I am 57lbs and still trying to loose a little weight, but with all the walking i do, i am sure i will lose a few pounds shortly! I am good with other dogs but need some time to warm up to new people, they scare me a little bit. I am working on feeling safe in the crate too, but i have been doing a lot better! I am a sweet girl, who just needs to feel safe, loved and have boundaries. I am currently being fostered in Richmond, CA. Story
Bean is 3-5 year old, Merle English Bulldog that came to us after being found by a good Samaritan in the streets of Modesto. We believe she was hit by a car and left to wander the road alone. She had a pelvis fracture in two places, but it healed beautifully! Bean has a lot of orthopedic issues that are common in her genes as a merle English bulldog including elbow and hip dysplasia on both sides, arthritis, and spondylosis. Bean doesn't seem to know any of this though! She loves to walk and play like a normal English bulldog. Due to her accident, she is also somewhat incontinent, so she usually wears diapers at night time when she isn't able to hold it. She is a lover at heart, and despite everything she has been through, she loves people and is constantly seeking affection. Bean would thrive in a home with children and dogs that can respect her space and love her. Location: Livermore, CA
