Meet Mia - The one, the only, the miracle mutt! This 38 pound cutie was past due for euthanasia and was saved in the nick of time #euthlistsurvivor. At just 2 years old she has a heck of a lot more life to live! Mia loves to start her day off by giving her people lots of love and wiggles. As soon as you start walking towards her food for breakfast you can expect her dancing to begin. It’s guaranteed to make you smile! While Mia is protective of the home, she is a very chill princess inside! She loves watching tv (yes full on invested in plots and all) and laying on the couch with her ball. Anything Food Network is sure to grab her attention. She is a very silly girl who loves to play and chew on her toys (certified super chewer). If you need some comedic relief, she’s the girl for you. No furry roommates please - Mia is her best self when she’s the only pet around. Kids? Mia loves meeting them but is best suited for a house with kids ages 10+ only due to her playful, jumpy personality. Mia is still working on her leash training. While she does deal with heightened anxiety outdoors, the right person can help her feel at ease. Mia has a super stylish pink muzzle that protects her #gooddogswearmuzzles or her favorite ball will do the job to keep her mouth occupied when she gets spooked. Her trainer verified that it’s more than just a ball, it’s her anxiety relief. A calm neighborhood or open park is the ideal place to walk Mia - busy streets and complexes can be overwhelming for this shelter survivor. Mia needs a slow introduction to all men - but once you prove your good intentions you’ll win her heart over. Bonus Features: - Potty and grass pad pro - Crate trained! She will snooze if you have to leave the house for a few hours - Part time doorbell + full time cuddle bug If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a genuine sweetheart, and someone to make you laugh you need to give Mia a call! She is currently being fostered in sunny Orange County, California and is taking applications for her forever human!

Meet Pantera – Your New Ride-or-Die Sidekick! Pantera is a fabulous 4-5 year-old, 60lb american pitbull terrier mix with the looks of a supermodel and the heart of a survivor. This gal was stuck at the Stockton Shelter for three whole months and get this, she even had eight adorable puppies there. Her little ones were snatched up faster than you can say “treat,” but poor Pantera was left behind, just waiting for someone to see the magic in her. Time was running out, and she was heartbreakingly close to being euthanized. But don’t worry this story has a plot twist! Pantera's unshakable zest for life was impossible to miss. She wiggled her way into everyone’s hearts and straight into a second chance. Since leaving the shelter, she’s become a fan favorite basically the Beyoncé of the dog world. She’s a total people person (well, dog), a canine social butterfly who also plays really well with other pups her size or larger. She’s down for a game of fetch or a good squeaky toy showdown, but also perfectly happy to Netflix and snooze on the couch next to you. Pantera’s got that golden combo: mature enough to be past the zoomies-all-day phase, but still fun, playful, and full of love. After being used as a baby-making machine (ugh, don’t get us started), she’s ready for the softest couch and the happiest forever home. Pantera would thrive best in a large breed experienced home free of small critters or small kiddos. Could that be with you? Fostered in Bay Point!

Meet Blue 💙 — the 80lb snuggle bug with a smile that could melt steel and eyes that say “I love you already.” This gorgeous gal is about 3 years old and currently living her best life in San Ramon, CA, while she waits for her forever fam. Blue is a one-of-a-kind mashup of Lab, Pit Bull, and Cane Corso — which basically means she’s equal parts goofy, loyal, and ridiculously huggable. When she first came to us from the Stanislaus Shelter, Blue wasn’t sure what to make of the world. Fast forward to today? She’s blossomed into the sweetest, funniest, most affectionate girl you’ll ever meet. Every day she lets more of her silly side shine — from spontaneous zoomies to dramatic sighs when she doesn’t get enough pets (she’s got range). She’s mastered the art of the couch cuddle, cruises like a pro in the car, and struts her stuff on leash like she’s walking the runway. Potty trained? Of course. Stairs? Nailed it. Vacuums? Still under investigation. Blue LOVES her humans — like, “I could probably win an Olympic gold in cuddling level love. She is wonderful with dogs! Cats, on the other hand… she thinks they’re a fun game of chase, so maybe let’s skip the feline roommates. Her dream home? Somewhere with humans who’ll give her love, structure, and belly rubs galore. She’d do best with older kids (she’s still learning her “gentle giant” manners), no cats, and people who think “Netflix & snuggle” counts as a valid hobby. Blue’s interests include: 🐾 Snacks (all of them) 🐾 Staring lovingly into mirrors (because self-love matters) 🐾 Kisses on demand 🐾 Collecting compliments from strangers She’s ready to find her forever people — the ones who’ll cheer her on as she continues to bloom into the confident queen she was meant to be. Come meet Blue. You’ll fall head over heels… and she’ll probably fall right into your lap. 💙

🎩 Meet Ralphie – The Distinguished Gentleman Potato 🐶💙 Ralphie is a 55-lb, 4-year-old bulldog bundle of squish, snorts, and silent judgment (mostly when he’s modeling his foster mom’s latest fashion choices). He may look tough, but underneath that serious mug is a sweet, sensitive soul who just wants love… and a really good chew toy. Ralphie is dog-friendly and does great with canine pals. He can be a little shy around men at first, but give him some time and he’ll warm up like a microwaved baked potato—soft, comforting, and loyal to the core 🥔❤️. This good boy is crate trained, doesn’t bark in his crate (a true unicorn), and is perfectly content chilling with his favorite hard chew toys. He’s calm, polite, and very patient—even when dressed in questionable outfits by his foster mom. Fashion icon? Maybe. Willing model? Absolutely. 📍 Currently being fostered in Fresno, CA, Ralphie is ready to find a forever home that appreciates a quiet, cuddly guy with a big heart and an even bigger head. If you’re looking for a low-key best friend with excellent crate manners and elite chew-toy dedication, Ralphie might just be your guy 💫

Story
Meet Truffle Shuffle! Who could resist this little butterball?? Truffle is a 6-year-old bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s full of character—your classic bulldog girl through and through. At first, Truffle can be timid and a little skittish with new people, but with a bit of patience, she warms up quickly. Once you’re in her circle, she’ll want nothing more than to be by your side and soak up all the love and pets you can give. (Boundaries? She’s not too familiar with that word! ?) Truffle does well with most dogs, especially calmer males, but she likes to be the queen of the house. Slow intros are the way to go to make sure she acclimates smoothly to a new environment and with other dogs. Good with cats too! She is not a good fit for homes with small children. When Truffles was first rescued from the shelter, she was in rough shape—painful ear infections, bad skin, eye infections, and struggling to breathe. She’s had two major airway surgeries (common in flat-faced breeds like bulldogs), along with her spay, and is now feeling so much better. Truffles is also slowly going blind and will require lifelong eye medication to keep her comfortable. It’s important to know that bulldogs and other brachycephalic dogs need extra care, especially in the heat. They are not outdoor dogs, and families must be aware of the lifelong commitment their health can require. Want to meet Truffles? Please fill out an adoption application! She is currently being fostered in Dixon, CA
