Story
Jolene is a 3 year old husky/shepherd mix. She is sweet, smart, and energetic. She knows basic commands, is potty trained and crate trained. She does require a daily walk or game of fetch. She is a bit skittish and we think it’s best to find her a home with older kids that can understand her need for space. We do have another dog who she gets along with great.

Sunny will be 4 years old in July. We purchased her from an owner getting rid of puppies. We are looking for an owner experienced with owning pets, can manage a high energy dog with mild anxiety, and preferably has older children or no children. She is perfectly safe around babies and toddlers, but is anxious and unable to relax around them. That is the issue we have continued to run into and we have another baby on the way. Sunny has been house trained and obeys all basic commands. She will need some work if you plan to introduce her to other animals as we’ve never done that. A refresh on manners would be good as well - no jumping, waiting at the door, calm getting her leash on - all doable but we have been letting slide recently. She is beyond loyal, loves to play, and wants you to hold her paw when you give her scratches. Brushing and basic grooming are a must as she is a long haired breed. Sunny is a wonderful dog who deserves wonderful owners. We hope we can find that for her.

I received Roman from a friend about 2 years ago. He's a great dog and extremely loyal. He is always on alert and ready to work. He's not really trained. He knows his sit and wait commands although he doesn't hold it if distracted. He loves walks but pulls a bit and absolutely loves water. He'll jump in the lake if I'd let him. Full transparency his only challenge is he's very protective and will bark seemingly aggressively which usually scares people. He did the same with me upon meeting me but within 10 minutes he was laying on his belly getting belly rubs. I'm unable to keep him because I'm moving due to life changes and my new living arrangements will not allow him to stay with me
