Story
Cinderella is a courtesy post with the Richardson Humane Society.  If you are interested in her, please fill out an application and you will be directed to her foster family. Hi, I’m Cinderella, a one-year-old German Shepherd mix with a soft beige coat, a sleek athletic build, and a personality that lights up every room I enter. I’m a certified social butterfly who adores meeting new people and making furry friends. If enthusiasm were an Olympic sport, I’d already have the gold . I’m fully house trained and proud of it. I’ll let you know when I need to go out by heading to the door, and if you’ve got a doggy door, I’m a total pro at using it on my own. Nighttime accidents? Not my style. I can hold it all night like the big girl I am. Playtime is my love language. Interactive toys and a good game of fetch make my tail go into turbo mode, but my absolute favorite thing in the world is heading to the park to socialize with other dogs. I’m playful, friendly, and gentle with other dogs and cats, and I bring the good vibes wherever I go. I’m still polishing my puppy manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I grab things with my mouth. Totally age-appropriate and something I’m actively working on. Because of that, I’d do best in a home without young children while I continue learning and growing. I’m dreaming of an active, fun-loving family who enjoys adventures, playtime, and helping a smart, eager pup become her best self. In return, I promise loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of tail wags and companionship. If you’re looking for a joyful, loving adventure buddy with a heart of gold, I might just be your Cinderella ##2606573##

Story
Meet Teddy – Young, Curious, and Full of Energy Teddy is a 9-month-old female who’s eager to learn and ready to explore the world around her. She’s still a puppy at heart—full of curiosity, energy, and love to give. She previously lived with adults and a teenager but didn’t share a home with other pets. When left alone, Teddy stays in a crate and may whine at first, but she settles once she feels secure. Personality: Playful, curious, and affectionate once she feels comfortable Training: Knows “sit,” “gentle,” “down,” and even “jump” (especially if treats are involved!) Likes: Belly rubs, walks, and sniffing everything in sight Quirks: Doesn’t like having her paws or mouth touched Social life: Gets excited when meeting new people; has been unpredictable with other dogs and hasn’t met cats yet Teddy would thrive in a home that understands young dogs and can give her structure, patience, and lots of positive guidance. She’s a smart, loving pup who just needs someone to help her continue growing into the amazing companion she’s meant to be. Story
At only a year old, he is a "big puppy" in every sense of the word—full of potential, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of love just waiting to be shared. Once he feels at home, Dill’s personality truly sparkles. He is a joyful, spirited pup who can turn any ordinary day into a fun adventure. Being a German Shepherd mix, Dill is naturally bright and eager to engage. He is incredibly treat-motivated, which is the perfect "key" to his heart and makes training sessions a rewarding bonding experience for both of you. With a little patience, he opens up beautifully, showing the deep loyalty and affection this breed is famous for. Since Dill is still in his "teenage" phase, he is looking for a leader who can guide him with consistent training and positive reinforcement. He thrives in an environment where he can learn the ropes of being a "good boy" at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for big puppies and a pocket full of treats, Dill Pickles is ready to be your most devoted student! Dill Pickles has tested positive for hearworms. His treatment will be provided by the shelter. Call the shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.May 26, 2026, 10:36 am
