Story
Ghost is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix (turning 7 on March 26th), about 80 lbs. We’ve had him since he was 3 months old and are heartbreakingly rehoming him due to changes in our living and financial situation. He was the runt of the litter and has grown into a loyal, protective, and loving companion. Ghost thrives with a large yard and cooler weather but is also a spoiled indoor dog. He is loyal and protective, only barking when someone is near the home. He’s been around children his whole life and has never bitten anyone, but does best when new people let him approach at his own pace. He is not dog-friendly and should be the only dog in the home. He has lived with a house cat but has not accepted new cats. Ghost knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake both paws) sheds a lot, and is a picky eater but eats dry food well. He needs a patient, loving home where he can be someone’s devoted companion.

Story
Meet Teddy – Young, Curious, and Full of Energy Teddy is a 9-month-old female who’s eager to learn and ready to explore the world around her. She’s still a puppy at heart—full of curiosity, energy, and love to give. She previously lived with adults and a teenager but didn’t share a home with other pets. When left alone, Teddy stays in a crate and may whine at first, but she settles once she feels secure. Personality: Playful, curious, and affectionate once she feels comfortable Training: Knows “sit,” “gentle,” “down,” and even “jump” (especially if treats are involved!) Likes: Belly rubs, walks, and sniffing everything in sight Quirks: Doesn’t like having her paws or mouth touched Social life: Gets excited when meeting new people; has been unpredictable with other dogs and hasn’t met cats yet Teddy would thrive in a home that understands young dogs and can give her structure, patience, and lots of positive guidance. She’s a smart, loving pup who just needs someone to help her continue growing into the amazing companion she’s meant to be.
