Story
This is Sam, a 5-year-old dog with some specific needs. He was my service dog in training until I retired him over a year ago, and he has since been living with a nice family. However, they are no longer able to care for him, and I am unable to take him back until I graduate in December. I am open to him being adopted by someone who can provide him with the care and attention he needs. Sam has some food aggression and recall issues, and he can be an escape artist. He has a high prey drive, especially when it comes to chicken and squirrels, and he is not suited for homes with young children. He does well with cats if introduced properly, and he is house trained and good indoors, but he does need regular exercise. Despite his issues, Sam is a playful and attentive dog, and he was excellent as a service dog in public places. He is not destructive, but he does love his toys.

Great family house dog, loves to play and be active, my son has developed an allergy to dogs so unfortunately we can no longer keep him, he really is an amazing dog and i hate to have to let him go, hes 6 years old and ive had him the last 4 years. Never had an issue with kids or other dogs, really is a great family pet.

Harvey is a sweet, gentle German Shepherd who needs a new home through no fault of his own. He’s great with dogs and kids and is well-behaved around farm animals. Harvey knows how to “load up”- whether it’s a truck or a horse trailer. He walks well on a leash, but he loves to run! His former owner would let him run while she fed the farm animals, and he typically came right back to her when she called. Harvey is 7-years old, weighs about 70 pounds, and is current on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative , and neutered.
