Story
Kreed is a German Shepherd with a big heart and a ton of energy. He’s gentle and patient with kids, so he does great in a family setting, and he’s happiest when he’s around his people.Give him a ball and some open space and he’s in heaven. Fetch is his favorite game, and he’d spend all day outdoors exploring if he could. He’s a smart dog who’s picked up plenty of tricks, and he’s fully potty trainedI want to be honest about why I’m rehoming him: it’s nothing he did wrong. I love Kreed, but my schedule has changed and he deserves more time and attention than I’m able to give him right now. He needs someone who can walk him, play with him, and give him the active life he thrives on.If you’ve got room for an affectionate, smart, energetic dog who’ll be a loyal companion, I’d love for you to meet him. I think he’d make someone a great best friend.

Story
Meet Bowie! A loyal five-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix currently in Castle Rock, CO, whose gentle spirit shines through his striking tricolor coat and unwavering devotion to the people he loves. At 65 pounds, Bowie is a calm, affectionate companion who finds happiness in life's simple pleasures, whether he is soaking up the sunshine, taking a leisurely walk, or curling up with one of his favorite stuffed animals for a cozy nap. He also has a charming Husky-inspired way of "talking," often greeting his favorite people with playful howls that are sure to make you smile! Bowie has completed formal obedience training and proudly knows commands like sit, down, shake, and circle. He travels beautifully, enjoys car rides, comes when called, and settles peacefully when left alone, often choosing a quiet place to relax until his family returns. His easygoing energy makes him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a predictable routine and appreciates a dog who is just as happy lounging on the deck as he is exploring the neighborhood. Like many thoughtful dogs, Bowie communicates when he needs space. He has experienced two bite incidents after being unexpectedly hurt or startled when someone accidentally stepped on or fell onto him. Outside of those very specific situations, he is loving, playful, and deeply connected with his trusted people. His guardians have also worked extensively with a professional trainer to successfully address earlier leash reactivity, and he has done very well since then! Bowie thrives in a calm, adults-only home with a low-key lifestyle, thoughtful introductions to visitors, and consistent routines. While he happily shared life with a cat for many years, he needs to be the only dog in his next family. He is healthy, neutered, microchipped, house-trained, current on vaccinations, and eats Hill's Science Diet food to support his sensitive stomach. Bowie has so much companionship, loyalty, and quiet joy to share with the right family. If you are looking for a faithful friend who will happily accompany you through peaceful days and cozy evenings, Bowie may be waiting to meet you! Story
Meet Luna! A spirited six-year-old German Shepherd currently in Georgetown, TX, whose essence is a devoted companion wrapped in a striking black and tan coat. At about 90 pounds, Luna is a big girl with an equally big love for her people! She is playful, observant, loyal, and happiest when she can be part of the action. This clever Shepherd quickly learns the rhythms and routines of the people around her, making her the kind of companion who seems to know what comes next before anyone says a word. Luna enjoys a good game of tug with her rope toy and treasures her squeaky Kong stuffed animal without turning it into confetti. She knows “sit” and “down,” comes when called, and is house-trained. True to her affectionate nature, Luna has an especially sweet snuggling style. Settle beside her, and she may bury her long snout against your leg or roll onto her back to request the belly rubs she loves! This energetic girl needs an active adult family with experience caring for a large, high-energy dog. A fenced yard, regular exercise, playtime, mental enrichment, and plenty of companionship will help Luna thrive. She is comfortable alone for shorter stretches of about one to three hours, but she needs a family whose schedule allows for regular attention and bathroom breaks. She tends to warm up to women first, although she has shown no notable reactivity toward men. Luna has not had many opportunities to socialize with other dogs and has reacted to them, so she needs to be the only dog in her new loving home. Her compatibility with cats is unknown, and because she has not spent time around children, an adult home is suitable for her. Slow, thoughtful introductions to new situations and positive reinforcement will help her feel secure. Doorbells and knocks can inspire protective barking, so patient guidance is helpful. Luna is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known health conditions or bite history. With consistency, affection, exercise, and time to settle into a routine, this loyal girl is ready for joyful adventures and cozy belly-rub sessions alike!
