Story
Let me introduce myself, I'm Lakota, Kota for short, and I am looking for a family to call my own. My foster family picked me up in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Oklahoma. My previous owner lived in a camper and figured out quickly that I was going to be way too big for that lifestyle and was giving me away. My foster mom has a soft spot for GSD's and brought me to her house in Texas, it was a great ride, I love car rides! I am still a puppy, be it a big one, so I am still learning what's ok for me to chew on and play with. I live with 2 other dogs and a few cats in my foster house. I probably shouldn't go to a house with cats because I like to chase them, I don't want to hurt them I'm just playing with them but they don't exactly like playing with me, go figure CATS! I am still learning about the big, wide world and sometimes can be afraid of new things but usually get over it quickly. I am housetrained and will let you know when I need to go out. I will require a family that will work with me to become the best dog that I can be. Do I sound like the perfect puppy for you? If you would like to meet me please reach out to my friends at habitat4paws.org and ask about me. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Story
Crucial has gone through a lot in his approximately eight year old life.  He was rescued as a puppy, went through parvo, then was adopted to a family who loved him for six years.  Unfortunately, due to unforseen family circumstances, he was surrendered to an animal shelter.  Thankfully, one of our wonderful followers who helped him through parvo as a puppy recognized him and immediately called Rescue Row to see if they would consider helping him.  Rescue Row adopted him to a family, but after a year he was returned because of human allergies and his shedding.  He is great with kids, and doesn't seem to mind other dogs, but doesn't need one to be happy, either.  We would love to have him adopted into a forever home this time...is it yours?  As always, we are so thankful to Photography by Sheila for taking such awesome pictures of our dogs! Crucial was DNA tested and has a mix of 16 different breeds, including:  Siberian Husky (40%), Alaskan Malamute (16%), American Pit Bull Terrier (6%), Cane Corso (6%), Neapolitan Mastiff (6%), Boxer (4%), Chinese Shar-Pei (4%), Shetland Sheepdog (4%), Boston Terrier (2%), Chow Chow (2%), Rottweiler (2%), German Shepherd (2%), Chihuahua (2%), Cocker Spaniel (2%), Australian Cattle (1%), Akita (1%) If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, check made out to Rescue Row or Zelle / Venmo): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1303791##

Story
Liza is a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd who was surrendered to our rescue by her owner who had become homeless. She is a high energy girl who loves to play, but is very affectionate with her people. She is great with other dogs and would do well with kids 7 and above. She is crate trained and potty trained and would be great for someone who likes to hike or someone that is very active. If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
