Story
Hi! I'm Tate! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Husky mix who weighs around 60 lbs. Unfortunately, my families work schedule changed and they no longer had enough time for a pet. So sadly, they felt it was best to surrender me to the shelter where I could hopefully find a new family. I am your typical playful, charming Husky. I do well with other dogs but prefer dogs who can handle energetic play. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along prior to adoption. In true Husky fashion, I like to learn new tricks and games, but I also enjoy reviewing my basic training from time to time to keep me on track/on level. I have been a shelter resident for 145 days as of 04/08/24 and am now a Diamond Dog. My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, microchipped, and heartworm negative! if you are interested in making me a part of your family, please submit an online application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ so we can schedule a meet and greet.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. April 26, 2024, 5:06 pm

Hi there! I'm Ashley! I am a 1-year-old female Husky that weighs around 40 lbs. I was originally found off of Lakeside Drive on 2/14/24 with another dog and sadly was not reclaimed. Story
Wrigley is 2 years old and she's an absolute sweetheart. She loves all people and all dogs. Unfortunately, she isn't well suited for the solo apartment life. She would be a phenomenal dog in a home with other dogs, a family, and a yard. She LOVES being outside. She walks very well on the leash.

Story
Cherokee came from an area neighborhood known for loose dogs and way too many pregnant ones. Her Mom was mostly Black Lab, father unknown. We had to trap her to save her life. She is full grown now and is between 40 to 50 lbs. It has been a long road of socialization but Cherokee wants to please and is so anxious to be loved. She now walks on a leash and is now ready for the next stage in her life- a permanent and loving home. We had some 6th graders visit and she loved their attention. She has her wings now and is ready to fly off to a new adventure. Giving her a home will be the most awesome experience. From feral to family friendly....that is a great success story already and you can help write her next chapter. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue
